We couldn't have expected more from our hosts. Not only they were very friendly and available, but also hey helped us in many situations. Besides, the house is as lovely & charming as it seems on the pictures, and so does the garden.

Everything was perfect during our 10 day vacation in Leste! The hosts are really nice and very kind. We had a feeling that we visited relatives. I hope that we will visit them again like good friends.
The apartment is huge, very clean and with everything that might be needed.parking is safe near the property.
There are taverns at a walking distance. The beach is also reachable by walking (10 minutes).

Dimitra was a kind host, the place is cute, clean and pretty,it’s perfect for cosy vacation. The place is two minutes away from the beach, there’s also a bus stop nearby. In my opinion it’s def better than a hotel. 100% recommend

Just 200 metres from the beach, Almyrida Sands is situated in Almirida in the Crete Region. Chania Town is 18 km away. Free private parking is available on site.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The retreat, the village and especially the host and her family are fabulous. Nektaria is very kind and gave us many advises for places to visit on the island. Our boys (and we) loved to swim in the pool. Next to the retreat is a lovely taverna with delicious food and friendly staff. The village Douliana is a romantic, quiet place. We loved all the small streets and many flowers. We will come back for sure. Much more to explore on the island. Thank you Nektaria for everything!

The villa was tucked away in such a beautiful wee area, almost like something out of a movie! There was so much space in the villa, with everything you need. We were a family of 5 , kids aged 19, 16 and 12 and own space was important to them as well as big enough space to be together - so it was perfect!

We stayed in the larger villa with a private pool. It is a lovely property. The owners Nektaria, Christos and family live around 30 minutes away and they could not have been more generous. In addition to helping with the villa, they also dealt with our car hire company for us when we had a flat tyre and suggested places to visit. Douliana is peaceful and comprises several villas, an excellent traditional taverna, cafes and a small shop. Beaches, supermarkets and sites of interest are within easy driving distance.
Great location in the petite village of Douliana, very local, and not too far off from the main road network. Superb hosts, who greeted us with local and home-made delicacies, toys for our kids to keep them busy, and provided useful recommendations on where we should visit. Thanks to them, our son started writing a daily travel diary, and got a liking for honey and dried olives.
The hosts, Nektaria and Christos, were amazing. Nektaria was waiting to let us in, and gave us a lovely hamper of local and family-produced goodies(raki, olives, salt and herbs), plus other kitchen essentials.
The villa was great and located right next to the swimming pool. The village of Douliana is fantastic and has a couple of great restaurants within a short walk, one located within the Douliana villa complex.
We stayed at Douliana Villas for a 2 week family holiday and it was perfect. The location is set in beautiful hills with fabulous views and the villas are spacious with everything you need. Nektaria and Christos were the best hosts and welcomed us so warmly. I don’t think we have ever had such a nice welcome anywhere else we have stayed. We will be back for sure and hope to return with friends .
The hosts are very nice and helpful, the rooms are large and clean and the environment is very peaceful in the outskirts of the village. Th swimming pool is definitely appreciated in summer.
A plus is the contiguous tavern, where you'll be warmly welcomed before enjoying good and affordable Greek food.
