Bourne Valley is set in the Hampshire countryside, which is a peaceful and quiet area, and the inn has a garden and patio where you can enjoy the tranquillity. A large function room can seat up to 80 people, and there are nearby transport links to the A303.

The landlady Tammy was an absolute superstar I have two rescue boys that are quite hard work and she really went above and beyond to let us enjoy the two night stay over Christmas. There is an entire area next to the pub where we could let well behaved dogs off the lead just one I couldn’t as he could escape so it’s not fully enclosed but very handy for nighttime toilets and we both stayed in one of the hard floor rooms which was perfect as we didn’t interfere with other guests. Food was fantastic and my friend who stayed one night with her pawpal Archie is also well travelled and very fussy so we were extremely impressed Thankyou for having us and thanks for the late check out it was really helpful.

Lovely staff, extremely helpful. Location was very good. We stayed for a family wedding and Johnathan the local taxi was excellent. Breakfast was very good. Our room was clean and comfortable. Some of the building is a little worn looking but it didn’t detract from our stay.

Rooms were comfortable and of great standard. We had a family room - massive! - and a twin room, both equally as comfy. The staff were literally the best. Nothing was too much bother; the housekeeper returned to make up an extra bed for us following a miscommunication re occupants, and we were delivered an umbrella each when they realized we were going to a wedding on a wet day. Really friendly and helpful team!

Great location and very quiet. Good service, great food, clean and comfortable. My family stayed in garden rooms which were a lot larger and more modern than the inside rooms, but I have no complaints. We had lunch here too - the battered fish was probably the best we have ever had. Chips were just OK, I like mine more crunchy.

Convenient, quiet, clean. The garden rooms were lovely. My family stayed in those. We had an inside room which was comfortable but not quite so lovely as the garden rooms. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.

We chose the property due to its location for a family wedding, with no expectation apart from convenience, however we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and our room was very well maintained with nice fittings and comfortable bed and pillows. The ensuite was in a good condition again well decorated and good fixtures and fittings, the additional cost for breakfast in the dining room was well worth the cost. The hotel bar is a lively pub and friendly staff and customers added to our enjoyment

This was convenient for what we wanted. Our son stayed in the new rooms facing the car park, these were a lot more inviting and modern than the family room the rest of us slept in. The family room was very dated and awkwardly laid out. We still had a nice stay, breakfast was lovely and staff very helpful.

The hotel is above the pub/restaurant and in an excellent central location, close to shops, cafe's, etc. The bar prices were reasonable. It's a 2-star hotel so you can't expect much. The rooms are spread over two wings but aren't connected internally. We booked a family room which was located in the main building. The room was a decent size, clean, and comfortable. The terrace out the back was nice for our large group, under cover with good lighting and heaters. It made for a nice evening with friends and family.
