Check in was good and we decided on an extra night - but the room we were given was a disgrace - very tired - furniture in room old and well used - ( couch - could feel frame when sitting) , Shower was in bath but no slip mat - air in toilet cistern made awful noise after flushing. when asked about shower it was suggested we just use a towel - not safe - we are in our seventies. We went into town, bought a slip mat. when we returned we explained we had acquired the mat. The manager in charge heard the conversation and decided we needed to be upgraded. nice but the room although much better and had a walk in shower was still tired we were disappointed. Meals expensive ( £8 for a pot of tea for 2)

Everything was perfect. The view was amazing too. So clean and well designed . Now our favourite place in Poole to stay.
This beautiful 16th-century manor house offers incredible views across the Dorset countryside from its terrace.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Had the toilet cistern block with limescale late evening prior to going to bed. staff very helpful and response excellent. Offered to change room but we got it going. Plumber replaced same next day. The breakfast was good but not the best. Bar prices a bit steep.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Quaint - it’s very old with lots of history attached. Family room was a decent size for 1 adult & 2 children. Bathroom was small but adequate. Place was very clean. Staff were very friendly. Restaurant food in the evening was plenty & excellent. Breakfast was good value & a great choice
Excellent location as we were visiting friends and family. Very quiet neighbourhood easy access to various tourist attractions. Excellent very well equipped house for families I know my Grandchildren would have loved it lots of toys, I will remember this for next year.
The children loved all the toys, games and books and it was great that there was a separate conservatory/playroom. The garden was also a good space and the trampoline was very popular. Being a family home it suited our needs really well and was in an ideal location for lots of local attractions.
Lovely countryside location. A lovely comfortable, spacious house which had everything we needed for our stay. Our grandchildren loved the house and enjoyed staying with us. Lovely host family.
The house was a good size for all our family 8 people. Great location and lovely fluffy towels. Clean and warm. Thanks for providing stair gates for the baby.
