Beautiful house, perfect and plenty of room for 11 family members attending a wedding nearby. Added toiletries was a lovely gesture as was the chocolate cake as a welcome gift. Lovely seating area outdoor, shame it rained during our stay

Staff members were helpful, polite and friendly. The accommodation was an experience. Had to walk through a herb garden to the quarters. Really nice. The location was great; peaceful with bird song. Well proportioned with everything you could need. The bar/dining area was interesting. Pictures, a large fireplace; what caught my eye was the cabinet with woven reincarnation of food stuffs long since made redundant. I though they were real at first. The different types of outdoor seating was amazing. I aim to try the rooms as they were all unique, quirky. Just what I like. All in all it was a pleasant environment with all age groups catered for. I will be visiting again.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The family room was great with a double bed and a big size bunk bed.
Staff was very courteous and made our stay very comfortable.
There were games, good breakfast, nice bar.
Excellent decor throughout, really thought through. Beautiful courtyard garden. Great use of space for a family room. Peaceful stay after the revellers had dispersed from the garden.
The Royal Oak surpassed our expectations. We’d booked what we thought was a family room which turned out, to everyone’s delight, to be two rooms in one. The kids were delighted with the biggest bunk beds we have ever seen, pretty much two doubles!
The breakfast was great, we also had dinner which had enough choice for there to be something for everyone.
We couldn’t fault the staff who were brilliant.
We’ll definitely be back!
Cute pub with great decor & vibe, lovely family rooms in the stable (the kids were delighted by their double bunks), cheery & helpful staff, nice walks from the pub, near Oxford, good food
Lovely location and really nice pub with helpful and friendly staff. Great family room with double bedroom and separate but adjoined room with bunk beds for kids.
The cabins are very new and well appointed with a lovely firm bed. The owner, Guy, was very helpful and great fun. Also had an excellent meal in the Inn.
We stayed in a family room, which was a converted stable. We had a lovely double bed in our room and there was a separate bunk bed room for our granddaughter which was fabulous. The bunk beds were built in. Both beds were large enough to fit two children in each! plus they had little curtains to draw across each one. The bathroom was in between the two bedrooms. All very nice, we would definitely stay again. The food was very good too. We had an evening meal and breakfast.
