The homely layout was relaxing. Our room had beautiful views and the colour scheme was instantly calming. The bed was wonderfully comfortable like a big hug but not too soft. Was sad to wake up. The en suite was generous and well laid out. Shower pressure was lovely. Breakfast was perfect. Ordering on line was new to us but the home cooked result was lovely and filled us for the day to follow. Our host was generous with his time and we loved the history of the building. What a lovely place to stop over if you are exploring the area.
