The location is stunning, with views down the valley and across the beautiful Dyfi estuary to the hills beyond. Sian gave us a warm welcome - even offered to help us with our bags up from the car (we had parked at the bottom of the hill to avoid some temporary flooding). Everything was as described - clean and everything in working order. A comfy bed too. It was cold and wet the night we arrived so a blow-heater was a welcome luxury. Even a fire-pit and logs are provided - what more could you want??

The host! The guests! The excellent conversations and the feel of the place, glimpses of important things of other people’s lives, from canoes to a huge dolls house, a drum kit and baby grand piano, to a 48x48 stud Lego baseplate :) connectivity- which is why I was passing through, as well as that I’m cycling through Wales to raise money for Refuge, who help women and children escape domestic abuse.

We loved the cottage. Lovely lounge with wood burner. Comfy beds. Yard fenced and ideal for pets or people traveling with kids because stream is next to cottage. Parking next to cottage. Small shop, post office and pub in area. We found board games in cupboard and we had a lot of fun playing them on evenings. Ideal for short relaxing holiday and for people who love nature and walks.
