I arrived later than expected but the hosts couldn't have been nicer and even provided me with an evening meal after the local pub stopped serving. The cottage had everything I needed - natural setting, not too warm and not too cold; great breakfast conveniently made earlier than expected, good shower, spacious room. I would highly recommend this place to stay for a few days or more !
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
It was very local to everything. Didn’t get chance to sleep there or have breakfast due to a family member taking ill and we had to leave late evening!
The presentation at breakfast was charming and I had my first strawberries of the year!
I was offered as an extra treat some salmon and it was a childish delight to find a whole
bar of chocolate waiting for me in my room!
The location is perfect for local attractions and my hosts were kind and friendly.
Room was exactly as expected and the communication with owner was great. We were running a little late and the owner explained how to gain access to our room as we finally arrived at 10pm! We all jumped straight into bed and had a great nights sleep. We left at 8.30am the next morning and said goodbye to the owner as we left. I would use this site again if needed. It was fun sleeping in a bunk bed again!
The property was very comfortable and a lovely place to stay as a family. It felt very welcoming and we stayed in every evening and prepared food in the kitchen which had everything you could possibly need. The owner was very lovely and accommodating.
Beautiful place in even more beautiful countryside. Comfortable bed and a nice relaxing atmosphere throughout the hotel. Staff were attentive but not overbearing and made us all feel extremely welcome. And there’s a family of peacocks as well!
Owner could not be more helpfull setting up the wifi in the cottage.
Wife loved it, the children 10-12 loved their attic bedroom.
Family want to stay there again!
