Rydal 38 Haven lakeland LA11 7LT, hotel in Grange Over Sands

Boasting quiet street views, Rydal 38 Haven lakeland LA11 7LT features accommodation with free bikes and a patio, around 26 km from World of Beatrix Potter.

The accommodation was generally clean. As for the standards one sees in the UK it was even very clean. The big plus is that the owners don’t accept pets. So if you’re allergic to dogs like me this is a huge advantage. At this time of year (last weekend in October) it was a bit chilly inside. We woke up to 16 degrees inside. I’m not entirely sure if that’s how it is or it’s our fault. The heating was on but it was still not enough. However, there’s a little gas fire place so it was good and made the place cosy. It was ok for a night. It’s nicely decorated and I think the owners seem to care. We could choose where we slept as there were only three of us but some mattresses seemed a bit too soft for us. At the entrance let them know you check in. They will give you a map and tell you how to get to the caravan especially if it’s dark - it’s very helpful.

Great location, good size property, beautiful view from rear of property. Great size lounge to gather in. Bedrooms are good size. A very clean property, good value for money.. The hot tub was a great feature out on the verandah with stunning views. The games room under the property was a great treat and we spent many hours having fun with family, playing pool table tennis, darts etc.

Great communication in the lead up to our stay. A lovely property with great access to local services. We used it as a base while visiting for a family wedding. Some lovely little thoughtful extras from the owners made it more special, especially for the children. What a view to wake up to in a morning!
