Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Clematis Cottage, Fortrose offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio. Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home.

We loved the property, the facilities, the great water pressure in the shower, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The living room furniture was quite comfortable, and I recommend making a fire if weather permits. It makes it very cozy. The location was walkable to food, pub, bus, and two bakeries.

Set within 20 acres of Victorian parkland, the luxurious Old Drynie House is situated on the Black Isle. With free WiFi and free onsite parking, this traditional property is just 10 minutes’ drive from central Inverness.

The Old Drynie House is such a charming mansion, with so attractive a view of the Moray Firth glittering beyond its perfectly cured lawn and its majestic trees, that it would constitute a worthy destination in its own right. The house is warm, welcoming, perfectly equipped, immaculate. Deirdre and Alasdair were kind, friendly, thoughtful hosts. They gave us plenty of helpful advice and made us feel at home. It was a privilege to meet them.

There was a perfect house for my family of 5 people including my little girl, we’ve experienced two wonderful nights staying at Fortrose. The house located very close to the Chanonry Point. It’s very tidy and clean inside, and you almost can find anything you need here. I highly recommend staying here if you intend to pass this area!

The Host and hostess were extremely helpful and kind. My wife had injured her ankle and was not able to move properly. Steven offered to let us stay in a one-storey sweet cottage with all the facilities we needed, and also lent my wife a crutch so that she could move around easily. They have a beautiful, clean and quiet home, and breakfast was great. My family felt very much at home. They also shared with us places to visit. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We loved their little cat and dog too. A big thanks to Steven!
