Excellent location in terms of beauty of nature, access to the lake and calmness of the place. the bar and restaurant are wonderfully decorated and serves very tasty food, we had very nice mussels and very good breakfast of eggs Benedict prepared for us. The building is amazing, everything to experience what I presume is conventional local style. Family room was convenient for all 4 of us, two adults and two kids.

The apartment was large and homely. There was plenty of good quality kitchen equipment for cooking etc. The water was hot and the place was very clean and well looked after. The apartments themselves are in an excellent location, just a 2 minute walk from the local pubs. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and took a genuine interest in us and our stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends !!! A great apartment that exceeded my expectations, was good value for money.

We loved the little touches that made the room feel homely. The host is lovely and the location is perfect for exploring Coniston. The Ruskin/Family suite had a mini kitchen and was plenty big enough. Free onsite parking is a bonus too, even if you have to play ‘car jenga’ if another guest wants to leave and you’re blocking them in - the host is great at co-ordinating this without you feeling pressured though.

Lovely, clean and well equipped flat bang in the middle of Coniston. We stayed with our 9 month baby and the included travel cot and high chair were excellent quality. The small hall before the kitchen/living room was useful for keeping wet hiking gear.

Everyone at the Inn was kind, accommodating and very helpful. This was a family holiday and the staff didn’t mind the extra asks or the exciting behaviour of the kids (busy toddlers!) - instead they were calm, friendly and having games and kids activity books handy. Also, really good coffee! Thank you! Can’t wait for a return visit:)

This was a bad experience and we left after the first night requested a refund for the night we didn’t stay. No manager on Saturday morning and no one has got back to us.
