We attended a wedding near by, it was a great location. Breakfast was great, you could pick your time and it was freshly cooked. Staff friendly and helpful.

Breakfast not good; bacon too crispy for me, beans tasteless, fried eggs hard

Everything is fabulous. The room was clean and a good size. The en suite was great. The snug where you can make drinks, relax on the sofas, eat at the dining table and use the fridge is brilliant (there’s even filter coffee and quality biscuits). Breakfast is continental but good. All the staff were wonderful.

The Riverside was a home away from home and very good value for money.
My daughter and I found it the perfect location from which to explore the beautiful local surroundings. Kevin and Michelle were friendly, welcoming and their pre-trip communication was exceptional.
Our room and the facilities in general were clean and well-equipped. I read a nonsense review about the room we stayed in being too basic.. absolutely ridiculous. If you want a 40" plasma on the wall, stay in a swanky hotel in London. If you want a clean, comfortable, beautifully positioned, warm and welcoming base to explore some of the UK's most stunning countryside, you'll be hard pushed to find better than the Riverside. We will definitely be returning.
The homemade breakfast was great; the strawberry jam was the best I've tasted! We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful home-cooked meal at the venue too. Again, it was fantastic value.
Thank you Kevin and Michelle!

Delighted this pub with accommodation has reopened. Now under new ownership and refurbishment. Perfect location to explore the town and glorious Devon countryside. Amazing value for mid week B and B. It is also a perfect base for taking our evening meal at the wonderful Italian restaurant, Berto's, a short walk away. Very good traditional breakfast. Our room #3 spacious, comfortable and clean. A splendid public lounge area with log fire and comfy sofas and chairs. Popular public bar. Doggy friendly pub, restaurant and hotel. We shall return.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Everything you could need in a holiday accommodation- we stayed for a birthday weekend, and house was comfortable, clean and furnished beautifully. Ideal for a family get together.
