As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The friendly owner and the family, the riding opportunity (£45 for two hours through the mountains), the freshly home made breakfast (£10, vegetarian option available) and the location. There are a wide variety of pubs and restaurants nearby (3 minutes by car) and a lot to explore in the area (caves, haunted house, nature).
Really pleased with our stay here. Karen and her daughter really looked after me and my 2 daughters. My 2 kids spent the whole evening playing outside with their kids and 3 puppies, such a nice evening for my girls and would highly recommend!
The location was perfect for what we wanted and the fact that it was a working stables was a lush touch. Being able to fit the kids in for their first ever riding lesson was fantastic and really made it special for them.
Great welcome from Gemma, Dean and family. Great hospitality. My children were welcomed to play with the children on site. It felt very homely. Lovely grounds to explore. A very comfortable peaceful sleep.
