I had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing stay. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything that you could require for a short holiday. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, and even arranged for their English speaking daughter to welcome me. The dam is only a 10 minute walk and there are lots of great woodland paths nearby. There are plenty of restaurants around the lake, a bakery next door and Soest is only a 15 minute drive. I would strongly recommend this lovely apartment and hope to return in the future.

The property was exceptional. We really felt at home, having all the facilities that we could possibly need. The host was incredibly friendly and really cared for us having a great stay. And the best of all, I felt our dog was truly welcomed. While in some places dogs are tolerated or accepted, this was the first place where it felt that she was welcomed. There were doggy bowls in a dog eating area, a cushion for her and treats. She was even allowed to go on the couch, which had a protective cover, and she had dedicated blankets. Just amazing!
