As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
It is a beautiful location with a great view. The house is large, comfortable and well-eqipped. There are lots of towels and linens provided. The kitchen is good for meal prep with most of what you need and includes a few spices and condiments as well as coffee making equipment and a kettle. A teapot would be a nice addition.
Fungai was easy to contact and helpful. He kindly provided a highchair and a babygate we needed for an infant.
Check-in and out was seamless and easy.
Traveling from the south shore of Nova Scotia, on my way to Cape Breton Island, The Marmalade Motel in Port Dufferin was a perfect stopping distance, and I love the name! It's very cute and beautifully decorated with fun themes. My room was No Drama Llama! It's a great place to overnight.
Gloria was the best! She is such a wonderful character: funny, smart as a whip, a wonderful cook and a charming host.
She made us a beautiful breakfast and made us laugh more than once.
The B&B is across from the water, with lovely views, pretty decor and many homemade knitted touches.
