The room is just perfect for a short vacation stay, especially if you're traveling alone. The bed is comfortable and very quiet, the shared bathroom is also cleaned as expected. The security and staffs are nice, they help me with stuffs even around 2-3am, and was cheerful when I was checking out, which officially make it one of my favorite place to stay in Hue from now on. The price is very affordable and match with the quality as well.

Plenty of places to visit if you like old historical buildings. The abandoned water park is worth a visit by Grab. We walked around and found little places too eat and drink, but there isn't much in the way of shopping centers. People are lovely and it's not the Tourist trap like Hoi An can be. Defo worth a visit

I love experiencing ancient History. And this is a perfect place for that. I wish I would have stayed a bit longer here. We visited Imperial City of Hue. We hired a bike and it was very convenient for us.

Loved the antiquities museum.
Loved the antiquities museum. Situated near the citadel but a separate ticket. Lovely old wooden palace. Takes about 1-1.5hr to visit. Often missed in the day tours. A day tour is a good idea as they drive you around to the key sights which are quite dispersed. Often excellent value with lunch thrown in.

The Citadel was a little disappointing.
The Citadel was a little disappointing. It has the potential to be a major attraction. The grounds needed lots of attention. The main royal palace was under construction or maintenance, so a 'no-go zone'.
The audio guide and associated map numbering system used to direct users to all the features of the site was very hard to follow and in some cases inaccurate.

Having read about the damage to the Citadel during the 1968...
Having read about the damage to the Citadel during the 1968 events, expectations about the Citadel were modest. However, both the city and the Citadel turned out to be quite charming and captivating. We spent more than half a day exploring the Citadel.
Using Grab for transportation made it easy and convenient to explore the city.
Just try avoid going during hot periods - we went early April and felt temperatures were extremely hot around 42-44c.

In addition Hue is still not too overrun by tourists, i.e. if you stay a couple of nights at which you have the opportunity to go to local restaurants like CHAN and see how vietnamese families enjoy life.
The property really does match its name - it surely is a palace! it is stunning! The rooms are very spacious and beautiful- the staff are so attentive to your needs . Alice was amazing! After meeting us at breakfast the first day - on the second day without even asking she brought us the ice coffee exactly how we like it! The pool is beautiful and big! All areas of the hotel

Beautiful hotel in stunning grounds. Rooms were spacious and clean. Enormous pool with pool bar and poolside dining. Staff were very attentive throughout the resort, especially Thanh from guest relations. Fantastic food at the restaurant. Breakfast was great with a good variety. Cocktails and canapes each afternoon were a lovely treat. Just a five minute taxi ride into Hue (we used Grab which is readily available). There is a shuttle bus which runs from the hotel but the times didn’t work for us. Would highly recommend.
Everyone was super friendly and very helpful, we liked that the atmosphere was easy going and comfortable. Our hostess helped organize a boat trip to the pagoda, as well as our bus to Hoi An.
Our room was cozy, clean and comfortable. The two puppies were friendly and happy, they loved bring pet and getting attention. For breakfast we were always offered a choice between a western and Vietnamese dish. It was delicious, simple and home-style. We would have stayed longer if we had the time and we surely come back.
Our stay at White Lotus Hue Hotel was truly exceptional. The room was spotless and comfortable, and each morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a variety of options. The pool was a great place to relax. Knowing it was our honeymoon, the hotel surprised us with a beautifully decorated room and even gave us a cake to celebrate. The location is perfect – just a short walk to the night walking street and close enough to the Citadel. Highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Hue. Five stars!

The staff were very helpful and assisted me with booking day trips and taxis. The room was spacious and I had a nice view of the city. The breakfast I had here is the best I've had so far at any other hotel in Vietnam. They had a wide selection to choose from and you could order noodle soups or eggs made to order. I also had a relaxing massage from the Spa in the hotel. The hotel is also conveniently located and is very close to the river, which is nice to walk along in the evenings.
The best place to stay in Hue. Service is amazing and all the staff is really nice. Special mention for the amazing Mermaid restaurant staff including Mr Quong who ensured our request for some special dishes were met. These small gestures truly deserve 5 star review. Have been staying and reviewing since last 10 days various restaurant and hotel, this sort of topped the hospitality levels. The front desk and Mr. Ben who helped with pickup drop shuttle was all really nice.
The hotel is very nice,classical, very good design with style, breakfast is tasty and perfect especially all the sraff are very friendly gentle and helpfull . Such a great place to see Hue from. Super friendly staff who speak great English, help you with your bags and help organize anything you need. When we were checking in both me and my partner were sick, and they helped organize an early check in for us without notice.

This is a pretty new hotel, with very comfortable rooms. Good design. I haven't slept better anywhere else in Vietnam. Felt so rested! Breakfast was also one of the best ones of my whole trip. The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. They recommended some really delicious restaurants that served authentic Vietnamese food. The hotel also offered to call for city tours and personal drivers when we asked. They made our trip easy and smooth. Our only regret was staying there too short!

Went to Hue by myself just to swept off all the burden away for a few days and worried nothing about life, then i randomly found this hotel. They were so helpful and showing me all the good places to eat and bars and clubs nearby. I felt lucky and had no complaint whatsoever.
