Maichi is in a league of its own, mainly due to the fantastic and genuine hospitality of the hosts who provided excellent local recommendations for food and sights. The facilities offered everything needed in a short walking distance to the old town. Clean, beautiful and relaxing. Excellent value for money and by far the best stay we’ve had during our trip in Vietnam.

Very friendly staff. I loved that the hotel had free bikes for residents, I used one during all my stay in Hoi An to explore the whole city, I even took it to An bang beach which is about 4 km away from the hotel.
The room is spacious and the AC is very good. There's a small swimming pool but I never used it to be honest. Location is OK.

Everything was an absolute joy. The location of the hotel is on the riverside away from the city centre.
The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony with a view on the river. Airconditioning worked excellent!
Next to the hotel there is a motorbike rental place which I highly recommend as its the fastest to the city centre (5 mins drive)

It's not typical for an old Danang city, but it's worth a short visit. There are too many tourists and scalpers, beggars asking for money, and locals trying to get every bit of money from you. The market restaurants are poor quality and overpriced. Avoid VIncom Mall and never accept an offer for a taxi from anyone who approaches you! Beware of fake taxi meter applications used by some drivers. Use Grab!

One of the most eclectic spots in Vietnam, with a lot of history and atmosphere, and not overdeveloped (yet). The main commercial/tourist area is an architectural treasure, and ppears to have so far resisted the destructive elements of modern tourism. It is easy to get around on foot, wih a number of interesting historical clan houses and temples dating from the pre-colonial era.
No worries as regards eating and drinking...Hoi An has many, many restaurants and bars catering for a wide variety of tastes and expectations. The central market is well worth a visit and look around.
Hoi An is very well situated, close to the tourist/coastal city of Danang and not far from the former imperial capital of Hue. The archaeological Champa site of My Son is only ~1 hour away and a must see for anyone travelling in the area.

Beautiful location with lots to do. Great tourist locations, Hoi an Memories Show is a must, coconut boats, river cruise are really good. We had food at both our hotel (Little Gem) and in local restaurants were we found the food excellent and great value for money. If you are doing Da Nang and Hoi An do da Nang first before you travel to the tranquillity of this beautiful location.

The city is gorgeous, perfect combination of beach experience, night market street, great food and friendly people. We had also great experience in using on of the famous Taylor shops with great results.
We also watch local performance like Vietnamese bamboo circus attraction. My kids loved it.
Quiet and ideal location in Old Town close to the night market, waterfront attractions and an endless choice of restaurants nearby. The rooms are a good size with their own bathroom, cleaned daily. Breakfast is good, choices including omelette, Banh Mi, fruit and more which set me up for a good day out. We loved the Vietnamese cooking class and village tour booked through the homestay. Our hosts were able to suggest some local attractions and restaurants and made sure our pre-booked transport was timely. A lovely family atmosphere.
This was one of our favourite hotels during our trip to Vietnam! It’s a new hotel and everything felt super clean and fresh and we were allocated a lovely room on the 6th floor which was spacious and well thought out. The location was great for us - a five minute cycle to the old town or a 10 minute cycle to the beach using the free bicycles. Jenny and Mai were lovely hosts! The breakfast was good and plentiful and we spent lots of time at the rooftop pool which was serene. Special thanks to Tom for looking after us!
Hotel is nice and clean, staff (special thanks to Mrs Hao!) is very nice and helpful. Stayed for 4 nights on March 30, it was very hot and the pool was a nice thing to come back when coming back. We borrowed th bikes to go to An Bang beach that is about 5 kms away but do not advise it if you are not "Vietnam Traffic Savvy", it is another level and too stressful for us. Better just taking a taxi or Grab. City is about a 15 mint walk but during the hot day better also taking a taxi downtown. Would stay again.
of all the homestays we stayed in (8 in total) in northern Vietnam this was our favourite and we extended our stay 😊
Moon and her family were so warm, welcoming and helpful, breakfast was offered as part of the room and made fresh every morning, the pool was clean as were the rooms and the location perfect - 15 min walk to the main old town (so close but far enough to be quiet) and a 20 min cycle to the beach, bike rental was free!
really recommend Moon Villa, we would come again!
Wonderful hotel away from the hustle and bustle, not to mention noise, of old town. The hotel provided an incredible breakfast buffet offering local vietnamese cuisine along with more western fare. The hotel has a rooftop pool and a smaller pool behind the villas that offer a welcome break. The staff are eager to answer any questions and help with any issues. The hotel has a complimentary pool of bikes for use and also scooters for rent if you want to travel further afield.
We really enjoyed our stay here at Hoi An Library Hotel. It is in a great location, around a 5-10 minute walk into the old town but there is no noise from surrounding streets of an evening which makes for a peaceful nights sleep. The staff were very helpful and super friendly. Breakfast was great with different Vietnamese cuisine available each morning as well as eggs and fresh fruit. The roof top pool is a great way to spend those hot and sunny afternoons in Hoi An.
A little luxury hotel with mostly all the services that you might expect. The location is just 2 minutes away from the main walking streets area with lots of restaurants, bars and coffee, far enough from the crowd to experience an unique atmosphere but close to everything of interest in the Old Town.
Only issue was with the mattress which are way too soft ; hopefully the hotel added a layer which made thr bed a bit more comfortable - still it was not there yet...
This boutique hotel was 5 star! Every detail was designed to be both useful and aesthetically pleasing. My room overlooked the stunning pool which beckons one to swim or sunbathe in complete comfort. Phuc is a fabulous host. She gracefully ensures that everything is perfect for her guests. The homestay is within walking distance to some wonderful restaurants and a community garden. Free bikes are provide to make the short trip to the beach or town.
We stayed at the hotel a little bit less than a week. We are traveling as a family of 5 including 2 young children.(2 and 4).
We had a great time. The location is ideally placed between the old town and the beach. The room is fine, breakfast is great and overall this is amazing value.
Special mention to the staff with whom the kids and my non English speaking father connected alot. They really took great care of us.
10/10 would do again
Hoi An Delicacy is perfect! Location is great, near the old town. Brand new hotel with the most comfy bed! Dinners and breakfasts were fantastic... lots of Asian and Western choices. Staff was always willing to help, friendly, nice. Massage was amazing! We travel full time and could not be happier. Staff assisted with onward transportation and provided tips with regards to Nortg Vietnam. Highly recommend!
My stay at the Tranquil Lodge was exceptional. The service and attention to detail is worth mentioning. The entire team is friendly and helpful. They will go above and beyond to ensure that you have everything you need. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet area yet close to the old town and to the beach. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
The Son is a fantastic boutique hotel on the edge of the old town. The rooms have a lovely and unique character and there is a quiet charm about the place. The staff are all excellent, especially the Happy Hour bar man. The real highlight is the breakfast where there are Vietnamese and more western choices on offer. The coffee is simply amazing!
It was in a good location within easy reach of the old town and only 4k from the beach .
Bikes are available free of charge or you can hire scooters for £5 a day .
The hotel is a boutique hotel which gives it character and intimacy.
Breakfast is good and the staff are super helpful .
Big shout out to M’s Sue 👊
The Cozy Savvy Boutique Hotel was a great choise for our family of 4. It is located within a walking distance from the Old town and the night market in a quiet area. Rooms were very nice, clean and specious. Breakfast was wonderful with special vegeterian dishes for us. We loved it.
The staff are pleasant.
The breakfast provided saves you a few dollars each day - the local options are best.
The room is pretty well sound proofed and very spacious.
Good cafes in the area. Old town easily walkable.
It’s a homestay rather than hotel/villa.
lovely & spacious room, only a 10min bicycle
ride to the beach and to the old town, quiet location and most of all, friendly & welcoming staff. helen and hannah were super friendly and helpful. it gelt more like family rather than being in a hotel.
In a good position as close to Old Town, just 7min walk to River and Lanterns area.
The Family run business is wonderful and they looked after us very well. The rooms are good size and cool. Would recommend this Hotel
So friendly and helpful xx
One of the best hotels i stayed during my journey in Vietnam! Everything was perfect there. The location is great - the owners are very nice and helpful. Only a few minutes to old town along the water!
The hotel is brand new.
Everything was perfect.
Thank you, AME, for make our stay so perfect.
