Very central location and overall great value for money. The staff is friendly and helpful. One thing to keep in mind: when they say breakfast is from 8-10, if you show up at 10:01 they won’t serve it to you. Nothing wrong with this but just keep it in mind :)

Beautiful city with an old world charm. Most attractions are within walking distance if you stay in the old town near Lyabi Hauz area. It's fun getting lost in the narrow old streets. Many options to eat. Chalet at the main square is quite good for both Uzbek and International food.
Try and do your shopping away from main areas, else you will have to pay premium prices for the same products that are available for less at a little distance.
Avoid visiting in peak summer. If you do, try and stay indoors during peak sun time.
Friendly locals. Safe city; low crime.
Easily walkable. Stunning collection of historic buildings. Good rqesturants - clean safe food.
The historic centre is delightful, though very touristy.
If you need a taxi, download Yandex app. Works efficiently and is about a fifth of the price of of getting a taxi on the street, plus avoids the haggling Do give Yandex drivers a tip.
Stay in the old residential town, rather than the tourist centre; it's real.
If you want to travel north to Nurota and the mountains (170 km) theoretically possible in a series of shared minibus, but not that easy in in practice, I got stuck half way. Yandex quoted $32.
A helpful English speaking taxi driver in Navoi (Uzbekistan 93088 7679) quoted $30.

It is really a jewel, with very nice local people, food and of course historical sites.
If you have time go also to see local markets as the caravan and the kolkhoz full just of locals. As a restaurant I suggest Old Bukhara and the filled eggplants and the Armenian appetiser

Along with family , we visited historical sites, old town, amir castle, madrassas by walk around eight kilometers, including lunch at Salom Namaste Indian restaurant. Dinner at pizza place in the center of the city with ice cream and waffles.
There is choice of commuting with EV tourist vehicles, if you do not prefer to walk.

Nice city.
Nice city. Comparing to Samarkand Bukhara is smaller and main sightseeing spot are concentrated in the old city center so it's easy to see everything in 1-2 days. I would recommend to hire local guide and just relax walking via old Bukhara streets.
Comfortable family run hotel in a good location. Nice architecture but interior is missing a tasteful touch.
Staff is not very responsive, not good at English and obviously not trained in hospitality so seems a bit harsh for an international traveller. The breakfast is good but expect to pay additional for a machine made coffee (not the case in any other hotel in Uzbekistan, even a cheaper one).
Overall I would not stay here again, there are better and more friendly options in Bukhara.
EVERYTHING!
The room just stunning, Uzbek’s style but with all the comfort.
the staff very nice and helpful for everything, they helped us a lot with different stuff.
We also enjoyed the city tour with the guide.
last morning we had to live really early and they prepared a take away breakfast for us.
we booked another room for the last night and they allow us to leave the luggage at the hotel for a couple oof days.
Best place where I slept in Uzbekistan .
I stayed at 20 sqm room and everything was fine, realy nothing to complain about. Hotel is rather new, room is spacious, matrass is soft, linnen is good cotton, bathroom is clean, shower is strong, AC is working, breakfast is good and the girl manager is helpful and speaks good english. They were happy to provide no meet and less sugary breakfast. For me it was best value for money in Uzbekistan. Definitely would stay again.

The most polite and professional staff members we encountered in Uzbekistan! Amazing and kind advice and organization. Beautiful rooms, brand new, very cozy and charming. Excellent breakfast. Next to a very nice restaurant, ATMs and the old town, literal 2min walk. The city had a power outage after the rain and they still managed to provide lunch packages for our flights back home.
Rooms are clean and modern, but this hotel is all about its location next to the central historical complex, and its rooftop terrace that overlooks it. Everyone staying will be up on the roof for sunset and there are chairs and tables to bring your own food and drinks. A spacial thanks to Fariza at the front desk who cheerfully took care of all my requests during my 4-night stay.
This hotel was recommended by my colleague. He praised this place very much. I only lived one day. The hotel is really good. Very tasty and rich breakfast. The hotel manager, a young girl Amina, speaks excellent English, which is very rare in hotels in Uzbekistan. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and will return here in the near future
This hotel is in protected historic building by the government of Uzbekistan. Atmospheric and authentic. If you want to stay a few minutes away from the noise around the Lyabi Haus, Amulet is an excellent option. The staff is super helpful and courteous. Can’t thank the manager enough for such hospitality. The breakfast is varied and massive everyday.
breakfast was delicious and very filling. location was prime as we were next to all the main sites. Staff were helpful when we needed to arrange a taxi and spoke good English, which is hard to come by in Uzbekistan. superior room was spacious, clean-- loved the decor. Also, the hotel is family run which made our stay extra cosy.
Very good value for money, with an extremely helpful English-speaking manager. I hadn't expected a lot from a back-street hotel at this price, but it was a class above anywhere else I have paid this amount for in Uzbekistan. It was also quiet. It is convenient for the train station, rather than any of Bukhara's attractions.
Located near the city centre with all attractions, restaurants and cafes within walking distance.
Hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful and can speak basic English.
Beds are comfortable and my room had an A/C unit and TV. Fast wifi internet connection.
Breakfast is prepared fresh to order.
Low nightly prices.
I simply loved everything at this hotel, it's new, beautiful design, and it's close to almost everything (you can use the Yandex or Yango taxi app and all rides will be cheap)
The staff were really nice, literally all of them were really helpful! Specially Shkhnoza and Aziz, and the others but I forgot their names lol
Brand new room and facilities in an excellent part of town managed by a very nice family. Havas guest house exceeded all my expectations in every way and was the best place I stayed at in all of Uzbekistan. I'll definitely look to stay here when I come back to Bukhara and you won't regret booking here so just do it.
Great stay in all aspects. Rooms were spacious, breakfast was delicious and the vibe was super welcoming. Made some extra wishes possible even without sharing a common language. Got invited and listened to a private little concert in the evening and got to learn a lot about Bukhara and Uzbekistan from the hosts.
Best hotel I've stayed at in Uzbekistan.
Room was great and clean, also no problems with hot water.
The staff was even better than the rooms, really kind people willing to help out .
I wish I could take the hotel with me to Tashkent :)
The best hotel during my trip in Uzbekistan. Big and very clean rooms. Pool is very comfortable and clean. Staff is the best in the world. I especially want to note the manager of hotel Olim. He always helps me with my problems.
Excellent communication before the stay. New hotel, excellent buffet breakfast, staff helped to reserve dinner in Old Bukhara restaurant (there were no places when I asked myself at the restaurant).
The facilities, the hotel, breakfast, everything. Its a good hotel and with good facilities. Luxury feel. Staff Aziz was kind and very supportive who even upgraded our stay to suite room. Superb..
Very good value as breakfast was included, and not too far of a walk to the main sites. Lots of top shelf hotels nearby only this hotel is just off the main drag.
-Best hotel I’ve stayed in during my trip to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
-Passionate owner who really put the guest first.
-Amazing location
-Fantastic breakfast
