My husband and I traveled to Winchester for the wedding of my dearest Friend's daughter. Because it was just the 2 of us we didn't need a large home on the Lake, just a hotel room for 2 nights. We were surprised that the Best Western was the only Hotel to choose from and honestly I was a bit nervous before we arrived. I am admittedly a little bit of a hotel snob so I wasn't sure if this would be ok. One of the positives of staying there was that it is Pet Friendly and we did want to bring our small dogs. We booked one of their little suite rooms which was nice because it gave us a little extra room. We didn't use the kitchenette to cook in but It was nice to have it incase we had been visiting for other reasons. This hotel is older but has been taken care of. We very much enjoyed the hot breakfast every morning. The options and quality of the food was very good and I especially liked the fact that it stayed open longer than the usual hotel breakfast buffet.

Is it perfect? No, but overall, it worked for us and would book again if needing a place.

I love Tennessee my father was born and raised in Winchester Tennessee. I have always admired the cottage but when I rented it ($800.00) I was so disappointed the only positive I have is the beds were comfortable. I will never rent the house again!

Winchester is a great location.
Winchester is a great location. Ar has a great breakfast place, the twin creeks marina is good for dinner, and across the street is a good Mexican resturant. Close to other cities like Lynchburg and Chattanooga. Went to two great restaurants in jasper tn.

I was in town for the Total Archery Challenge. The town was not very big but they did have a good selection of chain and local restaurants. They also had a Krogers nearby to pick up anything you need to take back to the room. The mountain views were great!

We enjoy the ease of getting around, the views of the mountains, the proximity to the Interstate, as well as Tim's Ford State Park.
