Very friendly staff. Decent breakfast, somewhat updates rooms. Nicer than expected for the price. Shower was about as nice as a shower can be.. Fairly quiet area

1. The hotel appeared to have gone through a recent interior renovation and looked even better than the photos on booking.com
2. Very large TV in the room (65" perhaps) that had streaming services
3. Wi-Fi password provided upon check-in

5. There is an amazingly good Chinese restaurant right next door that impressed me and was affordable

Cute farm with close proximity to distilleries and George Dickel our favorite! The house was perfect to relax with friends and the hosts were very responsive and welcoming!
Shelbyville is definitely not a place I would go to...
Shelbyville is definitely not a place I would go to intentionally if not for the fact my daughter (and grandkids) live there. The hotel I stayed in is fine, but it's about the nicest thing this city has. The town mostly consists of liquor stores and very plain fast food joints with poor service.

The accommodations were clean and the staff was very polite and friendly. The restaurant next door is one of the best and the food and service were 5 star. Shelbyville is a nice town with very nice people.

Traffic is ridiculous, with no thought to plan for businesses on main route. There was no plan for placement of businesses, so it’s a heap of random businesses all the way down the strip. Off the main strip the town is run down. For a town this size, there should be more outdoor fitness opportunities.
The above and beyond approach staff members took when asking for something but if they didn't have it they did everything to supplement what it was you wanted.
I don't understand why you don't have tooth brushes for covid anymore seemed a wierd thing to stop providing but when I was in need a lovely member of your Shelbyville staff was quick to try and provide a temp fix with a flossy tooth/pick

I liked the character and charm of this old historic house. We met Linda, one of the owners who was very friendly and chatted with us about the history of the area and house. We mixed up our stays with chain type motels/hotels and prefer the B&B type properties but if you want room service, swimming pools etc then this isn't for you but if you want charm, character and history then a big thumbs up for us.
My friends and i really enjoyed the time we was there but we had to leave early because of me having a kidney stone which i was very happy that the motel refunded the money for the night we couldn't stay that was a great help to us. I would stay there again thank you so much for making a trip the best it could be . I will be back soon i pray. Again thank you. Sarah Carter
The home was beautiful in walking distance of the Town's Square and fun shops. The owners were friendly and so was there beautiful fur grandbaby Bruce. Also got to interact with other guest who were awesome. I would definitely stay again if visiting the Shelbyville area.
There was no office or anyone at the property and no one to answer the phone when calling. It is a run down apartment complex. I booked the room through booking.com and demand a refund. I had to drive 25 miles to a motel for my stay in/around Shelbyville.
Great location near Shelbyville's quaint downtown district. The old home is beautiful and well taken care of. Parking was simple and accessible. We would stay here again if we're ever traveling through the area again.
