It was extremely clean and quiet. It was at a decent price for San Diego but in San Marcos north county San Diego it was in my opinion a little bit much even for a weekend

The breakfast was good, I like that the hot food was different every day BUT wish there were donuts / something more for the kids other than cereal

San Marcos is a beautiful city and less hectic than San Diego. I got to enjoy the Amalfi Restaurant, which I highly recommended. It is on Lake San Marcos by the Marina, it felt like stepping into the Italian Riviera for the evening.
I attended a conference at The Movement church and that facility was beautiful.

The area and people were great!
The area and people were great! Loved San Marcos, Carlsbad, San Diego, and Malibu! Drivers are very considerate and cautious drivers. No litter a very clean area. I was in CA for work therefore only had a day and half to tour the area but hubby did while I was at work and said the same thing. We are both truly in love with area and would love to come back and stay for a week or more just to visit.

We enjoyed all of San Marcos eateries.
We enjoyed all of San Marcos eateries. Restaurant Row was amazing. The Micro Brewers were fun Especially Wild Barrel Brewing Company!
In-And-Out Burgers are awesome! Great Breakfast's at Broken Yoke.
I've been going here since the "Quail Inn Days;' what a world of difference in a great modern way! Hands down, the 'Staff' were the best part of our stay making it unique and special!! 👏 Also, we loved that you can get a free bucket of balls for the driving range, plus free bike rides, paddle boats, and use of the tennis courts; this is great for outdoor type people. Smore packages were a nice touch as well! =)
Definitely the nicest hotel in the area. I've stayed about six weeks over the last year. Clean, spacious, kind staff, right off the freeway (but safe) and a solid breakfast offering.
Was here for my wedding night. Very beautiful hotel in an amazing spot. Staff was awesome and welcoming. Room was in great condition. No complaints and would stay here again
I enjoyed the pricing and how nice the people were. I also thought that it’s cool to have a little kitchen in the hotel, very convenient. I felt safe and would come again!
