We have been staying here since it opened. We do enjoy the hotel but there are usually 1 or two little things that keep it from getting 100%

It seemed the whole town was friendly. And since I must have looked ragged after working on the nearby lighthouse, I was still treated very nice. Perhaps some of the workers in my town should go there for training.
You should bring ear plugs if you want to sleep in as the trains run all day.

From the moment you walk in the place smells of mildew.
From the moment you walk in the place smells of mildew. Elevator is over-sprayed in an attempt to cover or mask the smell rather than cleaning. Room (315) was just as bad if not worse. Room was cleaned once the entire week I was there. Received poor service from Texas Road House as well. Did not receive eating utensils with my food, went to front desk and asked if I could get a plastic fork and possibly a plastic knife so I could eat my food. I figured since the hotel serves breakfast they would be able to help out a guest. I was told by the young lady whom was eating there in the lobby with a man that they do not provide utensils because everyone was stealing them. I explained I would pay $6 for a simple plastic fork and knife, it was all the cash I had on me at the moment. She said no they have it locked up and went back to eating with the gentleman.

Port Arthur is not a vacation destination.
Port Arthur is not a vacation destination. We were there visiting family from that area. If you are passing through that area, this is a great place to stay because it has a lot of restaurants and shopping and is a safer and nicer place to stay than Beaumont.
The hotel was clean and for most part well maintained. The pool is nice and not overly crowded. The breakfast was very good. The property has laundry facilities available which makes it nice if you're there for several days. The lady at the front desk on second shift is very nice and always asking if she can do anything to make our stay better.
Everything was fine except waiting 2 hours to “sort out my booking. I wasn’t even out in my room until the hotel received confirmation even though I had my receipt and my confirmation number as well as the PIN code. We were already getting in late, then had to wait 2 hours, till almost 2 am for our room and it wasn’t our fault.
It was quiet and away from a row of hotels on the highway. The property is new and seems like management is working diligently on keeping it that way. The room smelt amazing, very clean and the bedding was white and spotless. There weren’t any loud noises and we could easily rest.
Everything were amazing and wonderful. Manager Mr. Alex was interested all time which problem I have. But I couldn't say something because was not any problem.
Highly recommend this hotel for everyone. Definitely I'll stay in this hotel again in the next time.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile, and professionally. Complementary breakfast was delicious. Everything was so clean. This will be our go to Hotel when we travel back to Port Arthur.
This was the worst experience in my entire lifetime of travel, which has been about 30 years. Starting with using Bookings services, to the hotel itself.
