The town is struggling and there are many people trying to make it work. The hotel staff was not exactly welcoming even though we may have been one of two guests. Nearby dining options were limited but they did it with a smile.

Even though the weather was icky, there are still some sites to see within walking distance. However, just taking a short trip in the outlying area was great... lots antique shops. There were a couple of really
nice restaurants in town. Giovanni's Pizza was great and Nucci (?) was awesome Italian food. If you can, try to stay at the charming William Watson hotel built in 1838. Overall, a great stay for a 3-day weekend
