Leo and Kim were so very kind and generous and went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. It was my first visit to Yosemite and the information Leo provided me -- before I had arrived -- was extremely valuable.

Both hosts are very nice people and do everything to make your stay comfortable. The house and location are very clean and cozy with a lot of cute animals around the house such as squirls and humingbirds. They give you a lot of extra info for visiting Yosemite and choose the right hikes for the next day. For early starters they make a nice breakfast to go.

Everything is perfect! I can only recommend it!
Very clean and well-equipped accommodation with all the necessary comforts.
Quietly located near Mariposa, we loved spending time in and around the accommodation and with the 2 amazing donkeys. They're incredible. We have also seen deers and their babies from the accommodation.
We'd really like to thank Glen for the accommodation he offers and for the chat we had with him, during which he explained his passion!

Charming little town. Down side is most of the shops close at 5, so if you plan on exploring Yosemite during the day, you will miss out on shopping. Most restaurants close at 9pm.
Great dive bar Hidden Saloon.

Gorgeous small town about an hour outside the park. Really great base to have as it has it all - shops, large grocery store, gas stations, restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay in Mariposa again.

Mariposa is a nice country town with good range of shops,...
Mariposa is a nice country town with good range of shops, services and food options for its size (including a supermarket), even in our early spring visiting time. This is due to its proximity to Yosemite NP about 70km away (our reason for visiting). If using the YARTs bus service to access the park its a great base.

Mariposa is about as close you can get to Yosemite without staying in the park, but it's still an hour drive from the valley. This is fine if you're visiting the park for 1 or 2 days, but after 2 days, you'll definitely have had enough of the driving. The town itself is very cute and has tons of nice places to eat. There is also a very large supermarket.

Having stayed in other motels on a California road trip, our stay here surpassed our expectations. The room was spacious and clean, and the balcony was a lovely space to enjoy the weather after a long day. Great location in relation to the Mariposa town parade with restaurants and shops
Good position close to the Yosemite National Park. Markets, gas station an other services available near to the location. We found chocolate and wine upon arrival. But the best point is a very good barbecue to cook our ribeyes as well as backed potatoes!
The hotel is very near of the restaurants: 1-2 blocks. Is very silent. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Heating worked well. Hot water too. Nice breakfast. Reception is very kind. Halloween decoration was cool! :)
Very good location and near to Yosemite National Park. Hotel room was big and clean and well equipped.
Breakfast is provided (there is a waffle maker :) )
