What a great location! And we really enjoyed the grounds. The kids loved exploring the area during the day, and we got to enjoy a fire in the fire pit (we brought s'mores makings) on Saturday evening!

The food provided was plentiful, delicious and diverse. There was more than enough for breakfasts and snacks during our entire three night stay. I loved the decor. We were very comfortable in the cabin. The hosts provided written material about the area and things to see and do. They thought of everything we could possibly need. Cookie, the cow, and I had a couple nice chats in the mornings. Lorenzo, the llama, stayed aloof until our last evening when we met him and the donkeys in person, but what fun. We slept very soundly and enjoyed walking around the property and reading on the front porch. If we had gotten any more relaxed, we'd have slipped into a coma.

Proximity to Fredericksburg. Small # of units therefore quiet. Hot tub. Courtyard even though it needed care. Food delivery was delicious once we could thaw some out.

This place is beautiful and clean! Great private place to get away and relax. Half hour away from any type of store and no immediate neighbors. Everything you might need is provided by the hosts. Comfortable furniture and bedding. Excellent view from the deck. Beautifully decorated but had to clear many items so we had places to cook, eat, and just hang out. People with mobility issues may find it challenging to get around.
