The price. The front staff seemed friendly but disconnected. Not very welcoming but she was standing her post and checked me in correctly and efficiently. The heater in the room was GREAT. Not noisy and cycled at a rate that was comfortable. The water for the shower was warm and comforting and the shower faucet did not drip it worked as designed. If you travel by yourself and want no convinces and only bare bones sleeping this hotel will work for you.
Stayed here as in walking distance from our son and daughter-in-law who live in downtown Libertyville as we didn't want to hire a car. Also great for walking to Independence grove forest preserve. Room clean, pleased to have a fridge and a large comfy bed. Good shower . The breakfasts we're really good with lovely staff. Very popular with families celebrating navy graduations but usually only at weekends and even then it was quiet.
This hotel is clean with friendly staff & although we do not have any they welcome pets! ❤️

I would definitely recommend this location for any and all stays.
1) All staff were exceptional! Everyone knew our names, greeted us with smiles, attentive to immediate needs, and made us feel like friends.
2) Room was well-appointed and had all conveniences of a studio apartment.
3) Laundry facility was complimentary and plentiful with machines.
4) Gym area was state of the art and better than many 4-star hotels we've stayed at.
5) Value was exceptional for a 12 night stay.
Hotel was clean and really well maintained. The staff was friendly. I wish the breakfast buffet also optioned meals at other times of the day. It was in a great location as it was near a wedding, but tough to get downtown or to the airport without spending a lot.
The kitchen and dining area was extremely clean and welcoming. The breakfast had a big selection to choose from and was very fresh yet tasty. I absolutely love the staff as they were all welcoming, kind, and courteous. The facility was clean and very well kept.
We liked everything about the hotel! The breakfast was the highlight, so many options and delicious! The room was very spacious, clean, safe and comfortable. We only stayed for one night, and it was perfect, we would stay again anytime.
