We stayed here for 4 nights and we loved everything. The cave rooms with their nice design and comfortable, the breakfast was a delight, more than we could eat, with home made turkish pie and some hot vegetable dish. Not to forget the panoramic view over the fairy chimneys from some rooms and from the terrace. Furkan did everything possible to make our vacation unforgettable. He gave us a lot of tips and arranged for us all the tours and transfers. Thank you and your family again for making us feel spoiled and welcome. Everything was beyond our expectations.

This is a great place to go. Has a rich history, and you see unique rock formations, lots of walking/hiking paths, underground caves and ofcourse the hot air balloon experience, which is a must, prior booking is advised.
For June, it was awfully hot and most restaurants/cafes do not have AC or fans. The evenings are pleasant post sunset (i.e after 8 pm). The dry heat can get to you, so please do hydrate. Having said that, most tour operators, generously offer water bottles.
Do carry enough sunscreen, hats, umbrellas, wear loose fitting cotton/linen clothes and good shoes (as the terrain is sand stone)

Two days stays are enough for Goremen. On first day, you can do the hot air ballon in the morning and then can go for red tour/green tour basis your interest. On second day, you can go for ballon huning, jeep safari and etc in the morning, explore the local market and then go for Atv Sunset tours. These are enough if you want to spend a decent time in Cappadocia

Gerome is a unique place to visit.
Gerome is a unique place to visit. The cave hotels are just amazing to stay. We were lucky to travel onto the hot air balloons. I would recommend you to atleast stay for 3 nights at this place to enjoy the tranquility, food, and not miss the hot air balloon ride. It was truly magical, and once in a lifetime. We will surely be back in winters, when the place is filled with snow, and the balloon ride will look even more amazing, and dangerous :)

Like a fairytale! Food- restaurants, cafes, bar options plenty, entertainment, shopping plenty, romantic, family oriented, charming, people everywhere are so kind and courteous, no badgering, harrasment, or upsell.
Highly recommend Family Wine House Restaurant went there 3x-my staple the lambchops, and their well made Aperol Spritz. My favorite server Furkan, fulfilled every request with a smile on his face. Loved the outdoor cave and seated cushions for an authentic feel of the area, and set up for dining. You may get too comfy and not want to leave after dining. Across the way, Afara Cafe and Rooftop dining, a full menu, I had their grilled chicken pasta, was so delicious, and their variety of breads with rosemary oil- Yum. Both places well lit with twinkling and hanging lights making it so welcoming and inviting. The Rupa Bar & Hookah house has a good vibe, Ganze is a very pleasant and efficient server who aims to please. Had sushi and soup next door at Quick China and enjoyed both immensely. Hot Air Balloon rides with Royal Balloons. 150% recommend them for creating a lifetime memory, say hi to pilot Kaan, he's the best. Turnback Travel for ATV ride experience. Ahan Ahan (Ayan), my main man. Thank you for my most memorable first time ATV experience. You are a savage obviously loving what you do, and made it so much more to enjoy, you're the BEST!! If staying in the cave hotels they might require some hill climb up and down so be prepared and wear comfortably fitted shoes. Most places to dine and shop are nearby and walkable, but if venturing farther out you may need other options.

Such a unique place and friendly people. Go to one of the underground cities -- and PAY FOR THE TOUR. So worth it. Locations are quite spaced apart -- so you might want to rent a vehicle or plan to rent a driver with a car (pricey).

Goreme is a small town, easy to walk around, with eateries, carpet shops, souvenir shops EVERYWHERE. It's not cheap. An ice cream costs £5 (prices weren't indicated).
Goreme, due to it's spectacular setting, has tipped too far into over-commercialisation with the environment over-exploited but not protected nearly enough.
Tourism is geared to 'experiences' that are safely guided and ensure those all- important photos to take home!
We enjoyed a range of paid excursions, including a dawn balloon ride. We question whether quad bike excursions should be allowed.
Tourism is not geared to (self) walkers, with tracks poorly signed and in one spectacular valley (Pigeon Valley) the little stream had raw sewage dumped in it.

Everything! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was my friend's birthday and they were very thoughtful. They greated her with cake and tea. She was visiting from the US and was very impressed with the hospitality. This is my 7th time in Cappadocia and the hotel managed to make this trip very memorable. I've stayed with similar cave hotels but the pool inside a cave was unique. The decor is tastefully done. The restaurant has an amazing view of Goreme. I highly suggest that you visit it in the morning and in the evening.
Wonderful hotel with warm-hearted hosts. Murat was very helpful in planning our trip/tours in Cappadocia prior to our arrival and during our stay. Murat and Ali are great hosts and will make sure you get the most of your time during your stay. The hotel location is also ideal, as you are located near the city center but just outside the main road, which provides some peace and quiet. They have 3 terraces where you can enjoy a cup of tea looking out on the town. We will most certainly return and be sure to stay with Guzide Cave Hotel.

Adora cave is one of the most amazing hotel I saw in cappadocia and I am glad that we chose this hotel for our stay there , the staff was amazing the family suite we stayed in was amazing! the hotel is just a minute walk from gorme city with all the restaurants and pubs , with the great location ! and the owner of the hotel is very nice and he was very flexible with us . the breakfast was amazing with the great view at the top restaurant in the hotel where we enjoyed while watching the hot air balloons in the morning .
It was very nice. Inside the hotel there is Kaira Rooftop, a known rooftop in Göreme with live music at sunset. In the terrace you have a good view of the balloons but next to the hotel there is the entrance to the “sunset point” you can go there in the morning and have an even better view of the balloons. Buffet and drinks were nice. Our room was very good, specially the bathroom with bathtub. If it isn’t your first time in Cappadocia you can probably get another place for a cheaper price with a good location also.

Their service and hospitality was impeccable - from the breakfast spread prepared by the family, free flow tea/water/pastries, to the helpful staff who helped us with photo taking from their beautiful terrace overseeing the iconic hot air balloon sunrise view. The hotel also helped us with arranging airport transfer, as well as booking of tours and activities. Highly recommend Charming Cave Hotel to anyone visiting Goreme!
We had an amazing stay at this family hotel! The hospitality was superb. They gave us a free upgrade to a spacious balcony room with incredible view of goreme, bed was super comfortable, breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staffs were super accommodating with late checkout. We were also welcomed by 2 of the cutest dogs in cappadocia :) location was very convenient to all the restaurants and surrounding areas. Also incredible value for the price. definitely recommend!
Beautiful hotel in the heart of the village of Goreme. The staff were wonderful, very helpful with suggestions of what to do, booking tours etc. The room was top quality and very well done - we stayed in a cave room and it was spacious, bright and airy. The hotel is a very short stroll to shops, the walk to the viewpoint and restaurants. Our experience in the Haruna restaurant was one of the nicest we had on our trip. Breakfast was lovely!

If this is your first (only?) time in Cappadocia you *have* to stay in the heart of everything: Göreme. And when it comes to having a first-rate spot to take pictures of the balloons each morning, few places could beat Panoramic Cave Hotel. It is only a 3-minutes walk up an admittedly steep hill from the shopping street. The staff is without exception kind and helpful. Breakfast is ample and delicious.
The hotel is located very close to the center of Goreme. You can access easily while you travel within Cappadocia region. Free of charge car park is really add value. Freshness and variaties of food for the breakfast is appreciated. They offer tea and coffee after breakfast without any extra charge. Highly recommend to wake up early at about 6 a.m. to watch hot air balloon flights from the terrace
My time at Gedik Cave Hotel in Goreme was an amazing experience, I left the place wishing back again one day. The price, room, food and services are great for the price. The staff are very atentive, kind and helpful. If you are looking to spend good time and enjoy your holiday in Cappadocia, I really recommend the hotel and the other services they provide.
