Staff are all attentive and smiling. The customer service is excellent. It’s like in you’re good hands at all times. Special mention to the valet parking team for your friendliness and the gift shop attendant who was patient and helped me picked my two bracelet souveniers. So many selection with buffet. Everynight there is additional variety dish. The cocktails and food at the kitchen bar are delicious. (No nasty headache from cocktails because they use decent ingredients) the snack bar are chef material. And the live band, mixed of local, pop rock and alternative music. The white party singer and DJ scratching, it got us off our chairs the energy was amazing. Finally, the turkish bath and VIP balinese massage we were treated like royals. Thank you so much Hilton!

Never saw Dalaman but I advise to take as little baggage as possible. I was flying with 1 small bag only which was super comfy.
Be prepared that if you have check in luggage you have to arrive at least 2.5 hours before because its painstaking to get through the airport, especially check-in with your luggage. The airport is huge and quite confusing. You can safely use your debit cards there I checked on mine. Everything was ok!

I only stayed two nights and was working remotely, so didn't experience too much, but from the couple of walks I had into the town I got a sense that you wouldn't need more than 1-2 days for the town, but it could be a convenient place to stay as a base to see other places.
Bus station is about 15-20 minutes drive outside of the town - so you definitely need to get a taxi there!
I think as a place to stay if your arriving at Dalaman Aiport late or leaving early, then a nights accommodation in Dalaman is a good option.
Use Turkey Lira and have cash, found taxis and buses you needed cash. I didn't eat or drink out, so cannot comment on need for cash at cafes, restaurants, or bars. The small supermarkets and liquor outlets took cards.

Dalaman is in fact city for tourist because of the airport.
Dalaman is in fact city for tourist because of the airport. My visit was out of main tourist season and the city was quiet and served me as base for my trips around. Ideal for short visit of Hellenic places like Patara, Xanthos and Lakoon and rock tombs in Dalyan or Fetyeh. And lots of nice beaches within a day car-trip.

We stayed at the king lake houses swim up apartments, they absolutely lovely !! next time would like to book the ground floor level and maybe opposite side for extra sunshine time 😎
We also booked beach huts with jacuzzi and butler service for are anniversary and daughters birthday, and what a treat worth every penny

The start of the holiday as always is long as you just want to get there, however Stansted Airport was brilliant both ways. Jet2 were fantastic and will be using them in the future.
We've been to dalaman 7 times and love it, people are friendly, beach's are lovely and clean, so much to do and see for all ages. We hired a car for 8 days and travelled to olu deniz for 2 nights, went to the blue lagoon and to the water park, we went rafting down the river at the Gorge which is a must, my 7 year old loved it, the 12 island boat trip from Gocek was great value for money £17 for adults kids half price up to the age of 12, the boat left at 10 returned at 7pm it included a bbq with fresh fish, chicken, salad and vegetarian option with a bar on the boat.
The local beach's are beautiful saragimie has 2 the old and the new one with large wooden swings spotted on the beach, clean with eating facilities, showers and toilets.

It is close to Sarigerme town which is small but good enough to buy some popular Turkish stuff.
Except the Holliday Village(the resort where we were located) you could book different extras on the beach , take a boot and go for diving, etc. British people stay mostly in the village around the pools and the beach itself is pretty empty for those who likes quite places.
It was interesting there was no mosquitos even there was a river and kind of swamp area around. The locals treated the area every day.
It is the first time in my life that I go to a place where the reality is better than the pictures you see online. This hotel is simply amazing, everything is perfect: the rooms, the food, the views, the entertainment and most importantly the staff! They are so attentive and caring, they always wear their best smile. My husband and I loved everything about this hotel and we would specifically like to thank Huseyin and Ersin from the main buffet, they took care of us since day one. I recommend this place to everyone!
I stayed at this hotel following a late flight arrival into Dalaman. It's around 10 minutes from the airport. The double bedroom was spacious and immaculately clean.. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very generous and comprehensive hot and cold food, also delicious. Special thanks to Mehmet the owner for driving me in his own car to the local bus station the morning after my stay and giving advice on local transport. I would have no reservations in recommending the Karacan Park and would stay again.

the owner was a brilliant person and very helpful and understandable. The fridge had water waiting for us.
We had a hire car , with Dalaman centre only a couple of miles away & the airport was three miles away, this made it very convenient to travel to most of the nearby towns.
The location was quiet and peaceful, the mosque was close by and the people were helpful.
We stayed for 10 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it.
it’s convenient from airport. not near a little market that I could see but not there long. it’s not fancy-bit like an apartment but I liked it. the staff are wonderful.
the card reader wasn’t working though when I got there (he was trying to fix) and I am sure that was frustrating for them too. I was lucky to have to some cash on hand as I arrived late and didn’t have a place to get some. that was the only thing but stuff happens. I’d definitely stay again.
This hotel is absolutely amazing! The staff was very friendly and they had at any time our best interests in mind. The Lake houses were insanely beautiful and the service was always excellent! Also the facilities were incredible. Whatever you liked, you could have it. The food was also delicious. To sum it up, the whole experience in Hilton Dalaman was breathtaking. We are so happy and we recommend this resort to anyone and anytime!
Had a great stay here. Both the owner and her brother are very welcoming and easy to talk to. The room is very nice, clean and modern. They have bicycles to rent for a good price and if you’re up for the ride up the mountain then there is a fantastic beach on the other side. If you are looking to stay in Dalaman for a few days then I cannot recommend staying here enough
It is easily the most stylish and beautiful apartment we've stayed in Turkey. Large windows with great views, the rooms are spacious and everything is provided. The hosts are the nicest people. Close to the airport, and a short drive to Sarsala Beach. I would definitely recommend everyone.
Excellent service. The owner met us at the airport after a late flight and drove to hotel where he checked us in. The next day we had very good breakfast in the garden and he then drove us to Marmaris to our next hotel. He was very friendly efficient and a very good careful driver.
Location was excellent for us as it’s close to Dalaman airport and made a great stop over before heading to Marmaris the next day.
