The location was fabulous beach front with coconut trees in the garden and only a few steps from the quiet beach. The beach front is also covered in coconut trees / trees with all the beach huts along the beach set back so it’s totally unspoilt. A short walk to the village which has local shops and a few bars and restaurants. This is a very quiet island so not much going on, it’s a place to relax. If you like the night life this is not for you. Kim and her team of staff were super too. Friendly and helpful in everything with asked. Will definitely return one day.. Thanks You 🏝️

I loved staying here. The woman who runs the restaurant and bungalows is hilarious and so kind. She gave me juice and aloe when I arrived, exasperated and sunburnt. The WiFi is strong, mini fridge in the room is such a bonus, and water heater and strong water pressure made for the best Thailand shower. You’re a short walk from the longest beach and also close to all the other restaurants. It’s easy to get lost in trying to find the “perfect” place to stay, but look no further, you’ll be happy and contented to stay here!!!
Set in a tropical jungle on the longest stretch of white sand on Ko Jum, JOY Bungalow Resort and Restaurant provides simple bungalow-style accommodations.

Good location, awesome beach bar and bar tender;
Nice restaurant on site, good food but small portions for relatively high prices.
Paddleboard and games for free to use which was nice.
Mopeds on site for rent.
Manager was accommodating and helped to resolve some issues we had.

The staff that work at the restaurant and bungalows made me feel at home. They accommodated my specific requests like I was family. The room was really spacious as well as the bathroom. The Thai food at the restaurant was also VERY good and I was happy to have such a simple set up of quiet mornings in the garden with their food.

Koh Jum is perfect for relaxation as it is a quiet island with not many cars just scooters to get you around. Would highly recommend staying at Nadia Resort as Chow was the perfect host going out of his way to assist us always with a smile.

Koh Jum is an island away from the hustle, which is great.
Koh Jum is an island away from the hustle, which is great. If the accommodation is advertised as what it is then great, even if at low standard. We stayed at the North-Western end that isn't even connected to the central road, the last km leads over a very washed-out dirt-road. Along the beach are a few tiny "resorts", take your pick for drinks and or food. They're all good!
A little more developed is the South-East and South of the island. Go there if that's your vibe, else go North. Don't forget to receive a Thai massage!

Beautiful, quiet beaches. If you wanna really find genuine, cheap price, peaceful island this is your choise! Also great beaches for snorkling but be careful with sea urchins! Koh Jum is a gem and unknown to many.
Koh Jum is a gem and unknown to many. It has not been overdeveloped and maintains a local feel. I fear it will change with the demolition of a number of bungalows at the southern end and talk of a big 5 star resort replacing them. Most people, locals and travellers do not seem happy about this. As many beaches are rocky and unswimmable at low tide, it pays to check carefully for what you want before booking.

The most genuine, friendly, authentic island.
The most genuine, friendly, authentic island. My friend and I loved it best of all it is not over touristy. We love Ko Jum and recommend it for anyone wanting to relax, rejeuvenate and enjoy a very authentic experience of island life.
We loved the location - there are a few places nearby to eat if you want to eat elsewhere but the hotel restaurant is great with reasonable prices.
A nice little touch is that the minibar in the room is free & is restocked every day; just a couple of beers, soft drinks, crisps & biscuits but much appreciated.
The staff are lovely & friendly. We arrived on a morning ferry at 9.30am & were offered breakfast that morning and our room was ready at 11.30am.
Reception can organise a boat for a day trip or a scooter
We really liked the location of the bungalow by the sea. It was spacious and clean and had a private terrace. Everything is very well organized and all the staff is very friendly, especially the lady behind the reception desk. You can rent a scooter directly from the hotel, which is a big plus. The island is a gem, full of nice places to eat and with some interesting bars by the sea. You can make long walks on the beach.
Everything was quite good.
Hotel was close to the village where you had restaurants and bars if you didnt want to eat at the hotel. And right in front of the beach. Very quite overall.
Our room had a great view to the pool, good balcony, the bathroom had the necessary amenities, hot water…
Everything was fine.
The breakfast was simple And didnt had a lot of variety but for us it was more than enough.
The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is super helpful and friendly. The food is also very good and everything is fresh. Nice bar by the beach with a pool table, and happy hour at sunset. The beach is deserted most of the time, which is wonderful and totally the opposite of what you get in most other islands. If you are looking for a very peaceful place to spend a few days, this is the location!
Very nice staff, especially the driver was extraordinary!
We loved the friendly atmosphere. Beach is wide and nice, although there is a bit of plastic garbage that the tide brings. I guess that is unfortunately the case at many beaches.
There are enough sunbeds and shade and a nice pool. Bungalows are kept clean with daily cleaning and have comfortable beds. AC worked well.
The owners are very kind and helpful. They offered us the breakfast every morning and they made sure we had everything we needed. The place is very peaceful and relaxing. The bungalows have a/c and a fan. The little kitchen and the bathroom are separated by a sliding door to keep the odors away from the living room.
The best hotel ( bungalows) ever ! Front beach , very quiet , super clean , personal is perfect ! Very kind . The best place ever ♥️♥️♥️
In addition they have a very good restaurant and not expensive at all. They even rent motorcycles for who wants to discover the area. Private beach, it’s a real paradise !!
Everything!!! Beautiful tropical location!! Incredibly helpful, thoughtful, knowledgeable local staff!!Super clean & comfortable bungalows!! Delicious restaurant. Perfect place to relax & reset!! I love this place & everyone there. I’ll be back for longer next visit!!
We had a lovely stay! Taeng and her team are the most welcoming and warm people, super helpful at all times!
We loved the breakfasts served on the beach, massages (also on the beach) and shortly speaking, we had a wonderful time at the resort! Thank you!
The property was absolutely beautiful! We had a private porch and the most comfortable bed. Everything you could ever need was within your own hut! The other bungalows were also lovely and everything was tucked away at the end of this lovely road!
The setting of this property is amazing, set on a secluded beach with the most amazing views. The food here is some of the best we had in Thailand and getting to enjoy it on the beach watching the sun setting was spectacular.
The palm trees in the resort were amazing.
Good food
Empty beach
I recommend to book the bungalow with an AC and with a fridge. (I stayed two nights and my first bungalow had only a fan and no fridge).
Lovely white cat
Absolutely everything. The bungalows were beautiful and romantic. Even for a solo traveler it felt so special to stay there. Every meal I had there was also delicious. Koh Jum in general is a little piece of paradise.
The bungalows are very large and cool, and near some good restaurants. The area is very quiet, so it’s perfect for some time chilling out in Koh Jum. I’d recommend getting a scooter to make the most of the island.
Beautiful property, sweet rustic bungalows with large porch and good size (and very clean) bathroom. Short 8 min walk to beach. Excellent restaurant on site- homemade baked goods too!!
Nice bungalows direct on the beach, amazing sunset view, friendly staff and good food at their restaurant. Perfect for quiet days but close to village and beaches too. Recommend!!
