The accommodation was perfect for spending a few quiet days in Malmo. The room was clean and tidy. They left us two bottles of water, tea and coffee. There was also a small electric kettle, perfect for two cups of coffee.
Through the window we could see the roof garden, which we had free access to.
There is also a sauna in the hotel with access for guests, but we didn't manage to get there to see what it was like.
In the evening, after walking around the city, we used to stop in the hotel lobby on the sofa, to have tea/coffee with biscuits in a quiet, unhurried atmosphere.
In the morning, we had the most generous breakfast of our lives. The choice was superb, from the classic omelet with egg, sausages and vegetables to cheeses, meats, salmon, fruits, homemade pastries. The breakfast was absolutely phenomenal.
Featuring a sky bar on the 25th floor, Clarion Hotel® Malmö Live has an incredible view from many of the venues. Facilities include a concert hall, restaurant, bars, sauna and fitness center.

Nice historical vibrant and cosmopolitical place, many museums and historical places to see, old city is nice, port as well. Walkable with plenty of transportation means, cheap enough compared to the rest of Sweden just avoid Gothenburg and Stockholm if you are looking for reasonable cost places in Sweden), botanical garden, many rabbits in the parks night time!

A nice big city which I could not fully explore in 3 days, because most of my time was taken attending to other matters than sightseeing. I ate at Asian restaurants at Hyllie Emporia, the latest addition of a huge shopping mall. Myrorna, The Flea Market has a shop there from which I bought some exquisite porcelaine mugs to take home as gifts. Erikshjälpen (Erik's Help) is another famous flee market to which you take Buss 2 Kastanje-gården and get off at the Musikhögskolan bus halt. You find a huge supermarket there comparatively cheaper than most of the well known supermarket chai stores. You can hire a bike at the central station to cover the whole city in a day or two.

malmo is a really good city for a trip of day or two. i stayed for a day and that was completely enough for me to cover the entire malmo attractions. i would rather recommend fellow travelers to visit the entire skane or the southmost places like ystad, skanor etc is really good for day trips.

Malmö is it seems finally being discovered.
Malmö is it seems finally being discovered. Bad press might have been keeping tourists out, but unnecessarily. The city (at least central and harbor area) is extremely safe, and has a lot to offer. The small old town has some stunning buildings on both the big and small main squares (and fantastic restaurants on the small one) and many streets nearby. The harbor district, being built for a few decades now, but mostly finished at present has stunning modern architecture. It’s not just the Turning Torso, even regular apartment buildings, or say Malmö University buildings are architectural gems. Together with the great food options, the cities strategic location (30 minutes by train from Copenhagen airport, ideal base to explore Swedish Skåne and Danish Zealand) and reasonable hotel and restaurant prices, Malmö really charmed me. At present after seeing the „main sights” around Europe, we are travelling to mid sized towns, with budget (flight, hotel) being part of the choice. And Malmö really is a gem, cheap to get to, cheap hotels and tons of stuff to see in the city and beyond. And by beyond I don’t mean Copenhagen, but smaller towns around like historic Lund.

Location is great, in the centre of Malmo, just off Gustav Adolfs Torg and Lilla Torg. Breakfast buffet was excellent. All the usual stuff but a few surprising extras too and all great quality. Dinner was provided too - simple but tasty buffet with a few main options and lot of salads. Afternoon fika (pastries and coffee) was also included. Room was fairly spacious and nicely furnished. Very comfortable. Excellent blackout blinds (essential in Sweden in summer).
The best thing about the hotel is the location. It is very central in Malmö and most sightseeing areas are within walking distance. Also, the room was non smoking, big and quiet, exactly what I asked to have at reception. Luggage room is available and you can leave the stuff during the day and take it out in the evening. And it is free of charge.
The location is great in central Malmo. The hotel is modern and clean, with comfortable rooms. The staff was kind and helpful. You can use the sauna in the their sister hotel which is a nice addition. Breakfast was varied and good.
