Karlshamn is a nice place, and has beautiful nature all around the camping place. There is a nice minigolf, seemed well maintained / brand new. The minishop had a nice selection of ice creams. The cottage had everything we needed.

Great wi-fi throughout. Breakfast was brilliant as was the complimentary salad bar in the PM. Tea and coffee bar 24 hours was perfect. Great location to town. Nice and quiet at night too. The town doesn't strike me as somewhere to spend a lot of time. It has some interesting buildings and old streets to wander around, there are a couple of interesting museums in the centre but the reason why we go there each year is to see the sommarteater på. Karlshamns Kastell. You need to understand Swedish for this but if you do then this is highly recommended. A brilliant experience each year.

Small city but very charming.
Small city but very charming. We ate in an excellent Thai restaurant, named Gourmet Thai. Very nice bike trails, between the fields, houses, woods, very well marked and flat terrain. Good supermarkets, and many stores. We were actually staying in Kolleviks, we went biking to Karlshamn.
The hosts worked hard to provide a clean and comfortable overnight experience. Lots of efforts to make the boat attractive and comfortable. I wanted to preview owning such a boat so this was a great way to sample the lifestyle. A smaller boat is not a hotel room, so people have to be realistic about motion of the vessel and limited space. But I was comfortable. The boat had shore electricity, so energy use (for a heater) was not a problem.

Clean, beautiful hotel in a particularly convenient location when traveling by car. Convenient parking. Unfortunately, due to our family's busy schedule, we didn't have a chance to try the spa. Good breakfast. The children were very positive about being able to make their own freshly made pancakes.

Hotel right by the water and our room had a partial view of the water.
Room was comfortable and beds were fine.
No air-conditioning, but we asked for a fan, which was provided and this was fine.
Breakfast had many options and was satisfying.
I would stay again.

Cons: The rooms especially the bathrooms are a bit old & limited selection of breakfastitems at breakfast (which may be explained that it is a small hotel)
