Beautiful and small city. It is very clean and it is more European style.
I like the streets around Petrovaradin and Petrovaradin castle. I would recommend Petrovaradin castle, it is a must visit place. You can rent a bike to get to Petrovaradin castle, across the river.
From there you have view of Dunav river and whole city. Enjoy the coffee with a perfect view.
Overall, 3 days is more than enough to stay in Novi Sad and visit everything.

We loved Novi Sad...it was very walkable, clean, friendly, relaxing, historic, and also not full of tourists. I wouldn't mind keeping this great location a secret. The food was excellent, and we loved the restaurants at the Petrovaradin Fortress where Hotel Leopold is located. It's also fun to sit in a cafe on the walking street and listen to concert-level violinists and other street musicians. There is also an amazing and unique Turkish bath/spa called Atrium just off the walking street with all kinds of services, including a rooftop restaurant, and reasonably priced.
great stay! i did book the apartment on the day of arrival, early in the morning, being tired from the night drive. i was able to leave the car at the property and they managed to make the room ready by noon.the approach was very nice.the spartment itself is very modern, newly equipped, nice and functional. based on other reviews didn’t expect too much on breakfast but was nicely surprised, there were nice choices and the chef prepared very tasty omelette.
The location of the hotel is just perfect, it is literally in the city center.

In the apartment we found toys for children, board games, netflix contains free programs and good Wi-Fi. Parking secured. Close to Lidl Setalista, next to the river and 10 minutes from the center on the sand. This apartment is our choice whenever we come to the beautiful city of Novi Sad. The host was very welcoming and kind. She asked us several times if we had enough space in the room because she was willing to give us another bed so that we would have enough space, she constantly asked us if we need anything and if everything is okay. And to make everything perfect, he gave us a bottle of wine as a gift.Thanks once again :)
So it was a very pleasant experience, a very welcoming city and we will definitely come back to this apartment on our next visit to Novi Sad.
The owner of the house and the manager were very friendly. They met all our additional demands, for which we are very thankful. The house itself has a special spirit, with numismatic furniture, paintings and details about the history of Novi Sad. It is like a museum and we are glad to have the privilege to spend some days in it. If you want to have an authentic experience and really enjoy the city, then don't miss out this hidden gem.
First of all, the owner was delightful, they were kind enough to provide free drinks, snacks, toiletries, and other essentials. The location was also amazing; being in the center of the city surrounded by many restaurants, shops, and great architecture. The apartment itself was very clean and modern. My family loved our stay in Novi Sad, and this apartment greatly contributed. :)

The apartment is in the city center, but the building itself is hidden behind the row of street facing houses. You are effectively getting a serene atmosphere in the otherwise hectic part of the city.
Novi Sad is a safe city in general, but the parking spot is in the backyard, making it supersafe to leave your car.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in an apartment located incredibly close to Novi Sad's city center. The balcony afforded us stunning morning and evening views that truly enhanced our experience. It is a very cute and cosy apartment with modern facilities and furniture and within walking distance from both the train station and the old city of Novi Sad. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed.
Veliki hotel is downtown, a few meters from the city center. It is decent, quiet, and the breakfast is very good, with an emphasis on local products. It is also clean and the receptionist was very helpful and polite.
Staff were great helping out regarding any need. The hotel has recreational facilities. I recommend the place for anyone who doesn't want to be in the crowded city center and also the good value.
