After a long hike at Ceahlăul we came at night to Casa Poiana Teiului. The host showed us her house, it was spacious, warm and cozy. I took a hot shower in shower cabin, after cold mountains it so pleasant that I didn't want to leave it. Me and my 4 friends gathered in the big kitchen, ate a little, played board games and shared our impressions about hike. In the morning host proposed us coffee and showes us her beautiful garden with gazebos, "ciubăr", barbeque and many other facilities. We a had a great chat with host about her house, village, mountains and many other topics. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Beautiful mountain view from the room window! Perfectly situated half-wayish between the lake and the mountain resort! Warm and cosy room, despite November temperatures outside! Very clean: tourists in the front building were taking their shoes off in the hallway to keep it that way! Welcoming and hospitable hosts, offering us lots of information about nearby landmarks and local points of interest! Delicious breakfast available upon request, and the best desserts ever! There’s a well-stocked grocery-store downstairs! Beautiful garden patio! Plenty of parking spaces on the premises!
