We went there to visit family.
We went there to visit family. Otherwise mot much to do or see( sorry). The whole city was dug up to re-do the road structure , so a nightmare to travel both by foot or car( done both).
But you can find cheap, diverse, very tasty food in the city “ pe pietonala” ( as local people call the heart of the city)

The city is very nice and clean, nice friendly people, i enjoyed taking strolls in the municipal park , and in the center is very nice in the evening, very lively.
I ate at Crama Veche in the municipal park, i highly recommend it, very good food, a lot of traditional dishes ( the sausages are amazing - sold by half/1 meter ).
Around the city there are some nice places to visit if you like nature- lacul Colibita. Also 15 km from Bistrita you can find a shooting range which i personally loved.
The apartment is small but the design interior is extraordinary. The designer was a genius. Everything looks aired and it is fully functional. You have a washing machine and a dishwasher machine a balcony and two desks where you can write or read. The furniture is a combination of metal wood and stone and it is quite breathtaking. There is a public parking space quite close to the apartment and it is close to the city center less than 10 minutes on foot. Definitely the apartment to choose if you want to see Bistrița with maximum two children.
If you ever need a place to stay in Bistrita, Studio Poienii is the place to be.
The host is amazing, the place is very cosy and comfortable, unique, homey, and at points it makes you forgive the thing you are in Bistrita for and makes you want to stay inside as long as possible.
It is quite, clean and a perfect place even for families with kids.

The place was clean and organized. The place is located in the center with a lot of things to do and nice restaurants to eat or drink. I definitely recommend this place if you stay in Bistrita!
I liked the location and the vicinity to the walking part of downtown Bistrita. Very clean and modern looking apartment and we enjoyed it very much. I also liked that it came with a parking spot so we didn't have to worry about finding parking. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Will definitely stay there again.
very nice situated, close to the city Center. when we arrived, there were some poles to block the parking places as for the hotel clients, and I wanted to move one and one of the staff moved it for me, welcoming us.
the room we stayed was a bit hot, the ac might have been broken and they immediately changed the room.
We liked the cozy atmosphere of the apartment and its quietness although it is situated in the centre of the town. Certainly the best apartment you can book in Bistrita. We felt very safe because you can lock the yard (and hence the entrance to the apartment) with remotely controlled massive iron shutters overnight.
The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, you can definitely feel like home here. The villa is new, very clean and there is nothing missing for you to have a wonderful stay for a holiday or a business trip. It is better than the hotels in town. I would definitely come again.
Very Big, renewed, fully equipped and clean apartment. Quiet during the day and night. Availability of the owner to help. I had a problem and helped me out. Good supermarket at walking distance and parking spots in the same street. My next time in Bistrita will book here.

Old building, right in the heart of Bistrița. Bed was comfortable, spacious apartament and tastefully decorated.
