Had to cancel one booking as the location was a mess (dirty sofa, mattress, broken lights, broken chairs, etc. while the reviews are 8.8 Excellent) compared to the very nice photos, Uber driver told me (with my wife and daughter) to go to him in the late raining evening instead of him driving 5 more minutes to get to us. I have this weird feeling that people are more about their image than their real situation (based on a business conference I participated). Messed up traffic - book something at the outskirts of the city and move around without your car. I think there's more marketing about Cluj than the real thing.

I just love Cluj! I have been here not for the first time, I really like to walk for 6-8 hours in the center, visit the park, botanical garden, swimming pool, temples, museums, cafes and restaurants. My favorite city!

I chose the Radisson in Cluj due its proximity to the BT Arena where the Transylvanian Tennis Open was being held. I knew the hotel would be excellent as I had stayed at a Radisson before in Birmingham. Whilst not watching tennis I took a couple of tours to the beautiful castles of Bran and Pele. Also the town of Sighisoara. So much history to explore and the countryside is breathe taking.
Nice hotel with a large parking in a perfect area - close to the centre, but also not far from the airport (12 min drive). The restaurant is excellent, a nice italian, good (local) beer and wines and very nice staff.
There is an elevator and a nice art exhibition (with sale) on the hallways!
The room was good, nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable, well ventilated and good temperature.
Good shower pressure (on the 3rd floor) good drainage, enough towels, very good bed.
I recently stayed at the Siesta l and had a great experience. The room was spacious and clean, with beautiful decor. The staff was friendly and attentive (though the contact was fully remote, they were readily available). The hotel's location was close to the city centre and had great restaurant options nearby. There is no parking, but you can park on the gated paid parking on the city hall (4 min walking from the property) for about 4 euros overnight.
This is a stylish small hotel near the Cluj Napoca railway station, with the historical centre of the city reachable by bus or tram in 5-10 minutes. My small single room on the 3rd floor was quite good (there even was a refrigerator), although I was not prepared to there being no elevator. The wifi was excellent and the breakfast fine. They also gave me some food to take with me when I had to leave by train at 6 am.
The best thing was how responsive and accommodating and helpful the host was.
The fact that it had a gate to the property provided for a comfortable and peaceful stay.
The area around the hotel was quiet yet also not too far from the city centre.

It was a beautiful apartment in the heart of Cluj Napoca. The old town is a 10 min walk, it's easy to reach bay taxi or public transport. Super modern apartment. All amenities are brand new and well taken care of. The beds are comfortable, the eco-design is pleasing to the eye.
