We had an excellent stay at Casa Velha Azeitona and wish we could have stayed for longer! The house is very comfortable and quiet - we slept very well - and has a wonderful mountain view. It was great to sit outside in the shadow of the trees. It really is the perfect place to rest, but still very close to Tábua with its amenities. The owners are very friendly and accommodating; they made us feel very welcome. We’ll be back!

The size of the house was great for our family and our dogs. Each room had its own air conditioning unit which was great as it was Winter. The property was fully enclosed and we could not have been more welcomed. The best communication I have had in a stay, ever, including on other booking sites! We would definitely recommend staying in this beautiful location.

What an amazing little gem in the centre of Portugal. The location was idyllic, beautiful villa with beautiful scenery. We came to visit our daughter and her family who are doing workaway in Tondela, so we picked the accommodation as it was close by. Our intention was to go out with them each day. However when we arrived, greeted by the lovely Isabelle who gave us a tour of the villa, we decided we would very much like to spend some of our time here. I asked the owners Bruno and Adel if they would mind our daughter, her husband, and their two little girls to come and visit us. We were happy to pay extra for them to use the facilities, which they graciously declined. They were so kind and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and they recommended some lovely restaurants. The girls absolutely loved it especially when, ( I think her name was Caterina) came each day to clean and gave them cuddles and ice lollies. We all had the very best time and really did not want to leave. We will most definitely be planning a return journey. Thank you so much for making our first visit to Portugal such a memorable one!

Good location, the area has many beautiful natural places to explorer. Quiet and peaceful place with friendly people. I would also recomend the restaurant "O Agulhas". Local tastes, normal prices, very friendly staffs.

It's great for long weekends, but not more than that. You have a few museums and sightseeing spots but you'll shortly run out of things to do unless you want to spend 1 hour driving to a nearby city
This is a lovely hotel in the middle of a quiet area in Portugal. It was the perfect place to stop traveling from Lisbon to the north of Portugal. Everything was very comfortable in the room, and the fact that it included breakfast and the spa was the icing on top. Really great deal for all that it included. We enjoyed the late checkout too and made use of the spa in the morning before checking out since we arrived late the night before.

The hotel staff were very friendly, the pool and sauna were included although we spent our days out visiting the Serra da Estrela Nature Park. One day I had a birthday cake waiting for me in my room. The bed was very comfortable, parking was easy, and breakfast was incredible. As well as the hotel restaurant which has good reviews, there are some nice local places for dinner an easy walk from the hotel too.
Fantastic staff, clean modern comfy rooms, with a kettle ( this isn’t always found in Portuguese hotels) Nice breakfast available, pool, spa etc and very reasonable pricing. Absolutely recommend this Hotel..we have extended our stay here purely on the above criteria and how welcoming staff are. Thank you staff …deserves 5 stars
Everything is good here, breakfast is plentiful and with good choices. Staff always pleasant and courteous. The cleanlinesss is excellent, the fresh smell when you walk in is indicative of how the hotel is kept. Maitre de very conscientious and obliging. Air con good and room was immaculate. Could not be better.
What a gem! Honesty, it’s like an oasis shining thru everything mundane in Tabua. Modern, well appointed & absolutely exceptional service. So happy to have stumbled across this property while booking my stay.
Everything about the hotel was crisp and new. It was super clean and the staff is fantastic. The spaces around the pool are inviting and comfortable. Breakfast was indeed excellent.
