Ideal location, only short taxi ride from Porto Airport, uninterrupted view of sea, great patio with virtually all day sunshine, great hosts who speak good English. Well equipped clean spacious accommodation. Praia de Angeiras is a down to earth unpretentious fishing village which suits us fine but has a great beach, many good reasonably priced restaurants & ordinary bars.. There is an extensive boardwalk which runs for miles alongside the coast & we found pleasant inland walks to traditional little hamlets where there was invariably a bar to slake your thirst. There is also a very good cheap bus service which runs down the coast via Matosinhos into the great city of Porto or better still alight at Foz do Douro and walk in along the river, about 3 miles but worth the effort !
