Everything was so lovely, the owner was so friendly and welcoming, the living space was perfect, cooked quite a few nights which was so lovely and also right near to shops, bakery and restaurants. The stay itself suited all our needs, we are so glad we stayed here, would 100% recommend. And right where the surf is, you can also hire bicycles, wetsuits, surfboards and surf lessons, perfect for first time comers in the area. We had a lovely time here.

Large, well-equipped apartments. A huge terrace that goes around all the apartments, with grills, a table, sunbeds. The owner of the apartment is a very interesting person and conversationalist who gave us great tips. It was so nice to meet you Jack!

The property was easy to find and straight forward to enter as it is a self check in. The property is a traditional Portuguese house which was nice. Spacious and very clean with everything you could need, including a nice small pool. The village Ferrel is lovely and small with everything you need. A small supermarket, nice restaurants including an organic cafe called KaliFood Organic which was really nice for healthy yummy breakfast and juices/smoothies. Ferrell is only 5 mins drive from the beach.
Star inn Peniche offers views of both Praia de Alfarroba, Praia do Baleal and the fishing harbour. At just 500 metres from the Peniche centre, it features indoor and outdoor pools lined with loungers....

Large clean room, friendly staff, close beach, easy drive into town.
Ferrel is a nice little surf town. It does have everything needed for the "normal life". Grocery shopping, restaurants/ bars, pharmacy. If you can't find what you are looking for there is the nearby town of Peniche where you sure will find everything needed. The whole Baleal area does have plenty of surf spots for every level.
