Lots of great restaurants and bars, and some historic sites to keep you busy. 3 days is plenty of time to see the place.

Bydgoszcz is a gem. It's got charm without pretension. The city's philharmonic hall presents top-notch concerts and boasts outstanding acoustics. Opera Nova also can be counted on for first-rate productions. The city has a good many cafes, pubs, and restaurants, a small but charming Old Town, excellent museums, and friendly citizens.

Great variety of restaurants, good cinema, shopping centre and excellent activities for both kids and adults. The city of Bydgoszcz has a massive potential of being great, but the constant roadworks made traveling difficult.

It's a sizable city in Pomerania region.
It's a sizable city in Pomerania region. Very developed musical life. Music Academy, excellent Filharmonic Hall and Opera. Very green, clean and it is easy to get by on foot , and by short 10 min rides on buses and trams. Good connections to the Baltic Coast Gdansk and historic Torun and Poznan. Up to 2hrs by train. Lots of history to discover about region and Middle Europe history past and present.

Great public transport system.
Great public transport system. The bus from the airport only cost 3 zloty 75 grozny, which is less than 80p, the cheapest direct airport to city link I've ever come across. The architecture is interesting and varied. The Tourist Information Centre in the main square is wonderful, well equipped with maps and guides to the city. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The app on my phone with my boarding pass stopped working and the staff very kindly allowed me to print off the boarding pass, even giving me a Polly Pocket to protect it. The flights to and from London Luton Airport were both only £15!
Hotel is modern and new inside, all amenities were clean and well kept. Staff was helpful and let us keep the car on the parking for a few hours after we checked out so we were able to sightseen the city.
Room had a very efficient AC. There was enough space for our luggage.

Great view over the city as the apartment was on the 10th floor. Great number of appliances on the apartment. Perfect to live in for some days. Two TVs: bedroom and living room. The apartment was in a very good condition.
The room was very spacious, it felt more like an apartment than a hotel room, and the view from the window was outstanding! The breakfast provided a variety of excellent meal options, definitely worth the price.

I have stayed in the City Hotel over 10 times. It has very good links to the public transport network. For example the 52 bus which stops outside the hotel, goes to the zoo and botanical gardens.
it's a quirky property, ideal for a singleton, a couple or young travellers and although it's bang on in the centre, it feels completely removed from any city noise and it feels very safe too.
