This place is 100% own by brothers that lives in Bucana. I love this concept, especially because this is pretty rare to find in Philippines (most of the time a foreigner co-own the accommodation).
We had dinner in a very lovely restaurant at the beach also completely own by an adorable local family.
Is difficult to express how nice, helpful, kind are these young brothers. To arrive there is quite challenging due to the road (especially in rain season), so if you wish to join this place from el nido i recommend to also let them organize the drive with the older brother that has a big car (or to arrive by scooter if you travel super light).
This is not a big resort and in the village seems not been reached by mass tourism yet. I loved to spend one night in this place far away from the stressful and way too touristic el nido.
I believe should go there if you are in a traveling & discovery mood and not if you are looking for a multiple days resting holidays in a resort.
Situated in Locaroc in the Luzon region, 8 Star Paradise features a garden. The property has sea views. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Bucana Beach is a few steps away.

Honestly, this was probably one of the best places I have ever been so far. I came here with a group of friends and we rented the hut by the beach. The place was amazing, the room was clean and very comfortable and the view from the upper balcony was amazing. The stay is also very beautiful, you are basically on the beach, just a few steps from the water. The location is also very nice, especially if you are looking for something more peaceful and in the nature, since except for the guests, there are not that many people going around. The host was amazing with us always very helpful and available, I've honestly never felt so welcomed somewhere, they helped us with everything from booking tours in El Nido to arranging transportation even in the middle of the night. The food was also extremely good, we had breakfast every day on the beach looking at the sea, and dinner, everything was always very good and fresh. One thing to keep in mind is the distance from El Nido, the place is around 30 minutes by scooter from the city, but the road to get there is very beautiful and definitely worth the drive.
Set in Locaroc, a few steps from Bucana Beach, Akoya Beach Park and Cottages offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a garden. The property has garden and quiet street views.

Big king-size beds. Large and clean rooms. Well located, quite close to Nacpan Beach (although an extra paid shuttle service to Nacpan would be appreciated as an option). Along the way, there are some small shops nearby for groceries (drinks, snacks, etc.).
The hotel is building a lovely castle-style design that’s very well decorated. When the construction/renovation work is finished, it will look like paradise. MG Chateau offers direct access to the private Calitan Beach (pretty empty but nice for a quiet walk). Nacpan Beach is within walking distance from Calitan. Nacpan is one of the best beaches we’ve visited in Asia.
The hotel provides decent internet connection (via satellite), which is very rare in this area where even cell phone signals don’t work (there’s no nearby cell tower). We really appreciated the satellite internet because our remote online job requires us to be connected 24/7.
In the room, there is a well-stocked minibar. The cleaning service is efficient. The staff is helpful and friendly. They arranged a comfortable airport transfer for us by tricycle at the standard rate.
Set in Nacpan, a few steps from Calitang Beach, Calitang Pearl Cottage offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.
