A friendly welcome as we turned up 1 hour before check in and the receptionist was lovely enough to let us check in early. We always stay here when we are in Paihia. Town is a 1 minute walk and the rooms are always comfortable. Nothing flash, but warm.
Centabay Lodge offers budget accommodation right in the centre of Paihia. Choose from a bed in one of the spacious dormitory rooms or stay in a private room to suit your budget.
This was a lovely place to stay. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and everything we needed was provided. It was a real treat to stay here.
We visited the Treaty Grounds, just down the road for a cultural and historical education. We hiked to waterfalls and mangrove forests. We caught the car ferry and visited Russell on the coast.
