Kuala Kurau is a fishing town on it's own. Good place to relax and unwind from the busy life. It's a quaint and laid back town. Kuala Kurau have a few interesting places to see such as the salted egg factory which is just a short walking distance from the town center, they have a few good food stall to enjoy Kari Ikan Sembilang (Catfish curry) which is their specialty, a good fishing spot at Ban Pecah or just anywhere you can find a spot along the Sg. Kuala Kurau/jetty and must try Laksa Ketam Kak Aya. It's impossible to get lost in Kuala Kurau town as it is rather small and everything is in a walking distance. Having a mode of transportation is a must is you wish to travel out of town as public transportation is scarce.
