I live here since 1994. I have seen many progressive changes in this city.
KL had made a huge name internationally. I am very pround of that. Nothing is perfect in this world but this imperfectness will make KL progress further hopefully greener.

It depends on preference.
It depends on preference. For someone who wants to go shopping, it is a good place, while for someone who wants more cultural content, KL offers a rather modest content. The traditional architecture is very neglected and it is obvious that the city's designers are focusing on consumerism and shopping tourism.

Kuala Lumpur is truly one of the most vibrant and modern...
Kuala Lumpur is truly one of the most vibrant and modern cities I've ever visited. It’s a stunning blend of contemporary architecture, cultural landmarks, and green spaces. The city boasts numerous attractions, from the iconic Petronas Twin Towers (KLCC) to the tranquil KLCC Park right next door, which offers a refreshing escape in the heart of the city. The view of the skyline from this area, especially at night, is absolutely breathtaking.
The people in Kuala Lumpur are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Whether you're exploring the bustling streets of Bukit Bintang, enjoying the cultural diversity of Chinatown, or shopping at Pavilion KL, you’ll find that the locals are always ready to lend a helping hand.
Apart from the amazing cityscape, there are plenty of attractions outside the urban core. The Batu Caves, a sacred Hindu site just a short drive away, offers both a cultural experience and a bit of adventure with its colorful steps leading up to the caves. If you're a nature lover, the Perdana Botanical Gardens and Titiwangsa Lake Gardens provide beautiful spots to relax, picnic, or take a leisurely walk.
The food scene is another highlight of Kuala Lumpur. From street food stalls offering satay and nasi lemak to upscale dining experiences with international cuisines, there's something to satisfy every palate. And with shopping malls like Suria KLCC and Central Market, there's no shortage of places to explore and discover local art, fashion, and souvenirs.
Overall, Kuala Lumpur is a perfect destination for those seeking a blend of modern amenities, rich culture, and warm hospitality. It’s a place that offers something for everyone, whether you're here for a short visit or a longer stay.

If you're planning to travel around KLCC, this is a good choice for you to stay. If you're planning to travel frequently to Pavillion, this will take a walking distance roughly 10 minutes, it's a long walk. The place is awesome if you wanna shop at KLCC, literally 5 minutes walking distance. Easy to find parking (paid) at Winston Parking.

Very, very impressive luxury building in central location right next to the brand new LaLaPort mall which features plenty of cool restaurants & shops. The infinity rooftop pool with superb view on the Petronas Towers is simply stunning, and so is the architecture & design of the flat & building which can compete with 5 star hotels. Most highly recommended spot and kind host who was also kind enough with my late arrival caused by an unanticipated 2-hour long queuing at passport control at the airport !
The hotel is spacious for a budget hotel. There is no TV, but there is no problem because now the internet is more important than TV. parking is easy and plentiful. only the halal food places are a bit far to walk. Bukit Bintang and Jalan Pudu can be walked. There are no employees if you want to check out early, but if there is no problem, the deposit will be transferred to your account
Probably one of my favourite hotels in the world. The room was great – large and supremely comfortable. The view over the park was amazing. The staff are super friendly, and the whole hotel has an air of professionalism and excellence. We ate at Chynna twice and loved it. The location is so handy – so close to the airport train and also the Nu Sentral Mall. We'll stay again – and soon.
Its one of those rare 5 star hotels where you can actually feel comfortable. Facilities are great, loved the pool! Room was spacious, comfy and clean, but what makes the hotel special is the staff. They go above and beyond to make sure you have the perfect stay, all that with a friendly kindness whilst also staying professional. Location is great as well, right next to KL Sentral.
Good prices for those on a budget, because it's acceptably above average clean all around the corridors and rooms toilets as well. Transportation made even simpler ample amounts of choices at KL Sentral station. Food is also easy to get with several cuisines to choose from. You'd want to look into this hotel if seeking for one in the area.
