I did not stay in this property, firstly, the road was not suitable for my vehicle. Secondly, I arrived one hour early but was not allowed to check in although the place was empty so, I went to other places and of course I am not allowed to get back my money

It was hard to pick among all the options in Kundasang, but as we unfortunately only had one night, we opted for the Bayu Senja Lodge hoping to enjoy the nice views of the surrounding hills and misty valleys right from the terrace. And we were not disappointed! It is not too far from the main road, but still in a very lush and quiet place, so it feels like staying in the countryside. You can’t directly see Mount Kinabalu from the hotel, but once you reach the main road it comes into view (if not covered in clouds). We liked the very spacious triple room and used the shared kitchen for guests to prepare our own meal after a long day of travelling. Everything looks very well kept and new, it appeared that some cottage style rooms were being built at the hill, seemed to turn out very good as well. We did not interact a lot with the staff due to our short stay, but they were very friendly. We recommend getting up early to drive to one of the viewpoints for sunrise!

The view is remarkable. We can view the kk mountain in front of the unit. Equipped with kitchenware and even bbq tools. Two separate washrooms which are convenient in big group. Check in is super easy.
