We have been to this hotel almost every time we visit Jerantut. Unlike previous occasion, this time we have been given a room at their new wing at Level 1. Room was spacious and more modern compared to the old buildings. Location wise, this hotel is in the middle of the old town. Breakfast was average though, but this is one of the few hotels in Jerantut which provides free breakfast.

We stayed in Jerantut for one night as a layover to catch the train early in the morning. The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly, both at check-in and early in the morning at checkout. The hotel room was as advertised: no frills but good for what we needed, which was just shower and sleep. The hotel provided a toothbrush kit and other items were available on sale, there were also 3 pharmacies within steps if any other items were needed. By the time we arrived most restaurants/eateries were closed but the front desk agent was able to suggest a place with local Chinese food that was open and quite tasty. It was called Shop 1188. We were able to walk from the hotel to the train station easily and safely to catch the 4 am train to JB Sentral.

The location is surprisingly pleasant and convenient. The convenience stores are only a few meters nearby and there's a local restaurant that is located just the opposite of the guest house. The owner is also friendly enough to guide us the room facilities.

Jerantut has a lot to offer for nature lovers like myself. We hiked Red Forest, Bukit Tabung and Bukit Seladang. Our previous visit we also went to Kuala Tahan and The Gelanggi Caves. Will come back again to hike a few more hills.

Jerantut is on-going develop small city. There's a lot of remote areas around here and you should expecting a village scenery. I'd suggest to have an experience riding a boat from Kuala Tembeling village to area of Sungai Tembeling.

I actually stayed near the entrance to Taman Negara , which is over 50km (about 40over minutes drive) away from Jerantut town itself. I can't comment much about Jerantut but where I stayed, there's very limited activities during the night. Even food and mart options are limited but I would think Jerantut town would be a little more happening.
Not a bad stay for an overnight when you are going to Kuala Tahan. The staff is friendly and the room is clean. No bedbugs also :) The hotel is not inside loud (no sounds from other rooms) and outside also (we didn't hear traffic sounds while the hotel is located next to the main street.
I like the location of this hotel.. Because its middle of city.. Easy to grab a bite... Further more i like the hospitality from the staff.. We get a room that has a problem with the air conditioning.. The staff immidietly change our room..if u ask me.. It was the best service..
The location was good - near enough to the bus station, which was important to me. There were a couple of "mamaks" for your quick meals, but they were a bit pricey; surprising for Jerantut!
Overall, no complaints, it served the purpose.
Clean and the hot water heater on the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was from a restaurant across the hotel. There are malay restaurants close by serving breakfast and lunch. There is a malay beauty and spa across from the hotel.
A dedicated car park beside the hotel. Boss was helpful and took time to show me how to get to nearby towns I wanted to go. And asked me to call him if any problem. Right in center of town. Very near to eateries.
It was big enough for the 5 of us and in a quiet neighborhood, 5min drive to the center of Jerantut. The wifi worked very well and all rooms had A/C. The beds were ok.
The hotel is clean, there's AC and everything that is needed. The staff doesn't make any problems and they're really easy going. Highly recommend this hotel.
Room is bigger than expected, very clean and tidy. The bathroom is clean and nice. Parking available on-site. Restaurant and shops not so far from the hotel.
