The balconies with views onto the nicely landscaped gardens and river should be a genuinely good selling point, but the booming thud of euro pop blaring out from the hotels wedding receptions means you will have to sit inside, and even then the single glazing will not shut the music out.

It was near the airport but we never heard any noise. Our room had a balcony but it didn't have any furniture so we didn't use it. Breakfast was huge so order accordingly... we could have split a breakfast and been quite filled. Staff is nice, rooms were very clean. On site restaurant was very nice. An enjoyable stay all around.

I love the boutique feel of the hotel. The rooms are all different and the overall ambiance of the hotel is posh. The attached restaurant is really cool to walk through and sit inside. The cocktails were great and the breakfast was good as well. In my opinion the restaurant had the best food of the entire street. Friendly staff that helped us with late checkout options and parking assistance. I would stay here again!

Despite being the capital it is not a city worth visiting.
Despite being the capital it is not a city worth visiting. You can visit all the "monuments" and "tourist sites" in Podgorica in 2 hours on foot. It is like living on the outskirts of Rome back in the 70s. English is not widely spoken especially if you plan to take busses to go to other tourist places like Budva or Bar. The staff at the stations and on those buses are pretty rude and they are not keen on helping tourists. I had to ask for the help of other travelers or locals. If I had to go back I would probably stay in Budva or other places near the coast. Podgorica is cheap but it is way too expensive considering what it has to offer.

The city has so many ruins they do not even bother to label them or secure them. Saw many people just walking through while shopping or family outings. But no controls were needed as it seems everyone was respectful of the ruins.

Green and vibrant city, great parks, picturesque river and bridges, lots of cafes, some interesting monuments.
Not impressed by a culinary side though - didn’t find any tasty food in both cheaper and expensive places. Got the impression that the real reason to go to a restaurant is to socialize only.
Surely way too hot in summer, as the seaside is about 100 km away. I wish they had more fountains at least!
Next time will only eat at home and stay in in the middle of the day.

Small city with lots of trees that give everybody around allergies.
It's very surreal to have mountains all around the city - kinda like a skybox in an old game. The sights are wonderful, especially in the evening. I wish I had my drone there to fly over - it would be so much better than what I had, but drone laws are cruel there (airport security doesn't do very good job of checking if you stay in the back though).
There's not too much to do in the city itself but it's a nice location to have 1.5-3h bus rides to other cities - we especially enjoyed going to Kotor mountains, and going to a nudist beach at Bojana island was also an interesting experience.
There are some places with nice food - just look for the highest rated restaurants in the area. I particularly liked the steak at the "Steak House - Grill, Fish & Meat" place. Food delivery is average. Taxis don't take card payments most of the time, and calling for a taxi without knowing the language is a pain. Tesla app is kinda ok in that regard, but it's only working in Podgoritsa.
People don't know how to drive and how to park there so pedestrian roads are blocked with cars, and traffic lights are challenging if you can't walk fast.

Very pleasant town, with green space and parks, safe and relaxing for long walks, especially by the river, and no problems at all with motorbikes (as in Tirana) and stray dogs (as in Durres). Guidebooks that underrate Podgorica are wrong!
Perfect hotel. The staff were very professional and helpful, giving us all the information we needed before we asked. The rooms were big with comfy beds, our own WiFi, and an excellent bathroom. The buffet breakfast was large and varied. We sadly did not have time to use the spa, as we arrived late/departed early. Do make use of their airport taxi booking offer - and any other taxi bookings you need - you'll pay half of the metered charge (across Montenegro, pre-booking taxis is cheaper).
Nice, clean room in a newish hotel. Located in a newer part of town, but within walkable distance to the train and bus stations. Included breakfast was OK with a reasonable spread. There are a couple of grocery stores close by and many eating places within walking distance (<20 mins). Convenient location to explore Podgorica and take day trips by train to Ostrog Monastery, Skadar Lake and Bar.
Very nice and welcoming hosts. Neat and clean room - which was very spacious and comfy. Private car parking facility was also available. The host gave us free ride to their hotel and served us with dinner upon our arrival, and breakfast in the morning. We were new in Montenegro so the host guided us as well about main attraction and tourist spots. Highly recommended!
There is a great hotel close to bus station. So if you travel to another city this is best option to take a rest and move away by bus.
This is also quite close to Podrorica center (10 minutes to walk).
Personal is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, there is Swedish table where you could choose couple options.
Price is also fine for Montenegro.
The staff was super friendly and helpful, for example by packing my breakfast a morning, where I had to leave early and couldn't enjoy the buffet. They also helped with taxi bookings and other stuff. The room was super comfortable, and the hotel was in the middle of the city (despite that, there was no noise).
Oh, and the hotel has the cutest dog!
The hotel was new and the staff were excellent. The room was really great and the bed very comfortable. It was modern. Even though the hotel was not in the centre of town everything is usually only a few minutes away in Podgorica. The hotel also has a restaurant serving great food. Overall it was great value for money.
Perfect to stay for the night before the flight from Podgorica. Free transfer from/to Podgorica Airport, operated by the host. Excellent food at the Aria Hotel nearby. Very friendly host. And the rooms, while not huge - nicely equipped (aircon, TV, mini-bar), very clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.
The hotel is located in a quiet part of Podgorica, but only a few minutes from the city center, which is great if you want to rest. Very modern, stylish, clean, with very friendly staff who are always willing to help you, for example, call a taxi. Serving breakfast is very fast. I highly recommend!!!
Nice building, lift hall and apartment interior with original historical elements and mood. Responsive and friendly host. Romantic view from the balcony. Perfect location, close to the Bus and Train station. Clean and cozy rooms. Good fit with Podgorica city atmosphere. It was pleasure to stay!
Excellent location, very close to the Podgorica airport. There is a very nice green garden and a cafe that offers tea and coffee free of charge to the clients. The room had all we needed, beds were comfortable and overall it was an excellent value for money.
Everything was perfect, the owner was very nice and helpful! The apartament was clean, cozy and there was Everything you needed. Close to the airport and Podgorica city center. If i will be there again, i would definitely choose this apartments.
The property is located on the most buzzing street of Podgorica, so there's a few restaurants around. The room (and hotel style) is pretty funky. The shower was really nice, with very good water pressure. The beds were comfy.
Small hotel located in the city center of Podgorica. Lots of details in the room which makes it nice and cozy. The bed is really comfortable. Further on there are lots of options for breakfast. The breakfast was really good.
Very nice hotel conveniently located near to Podgorica airport.
Restaurant open quite late, so no problem for dinner after evening flight.
All OK, everything works, staff friendly, hotel clean and tidy.
We used this hotel as a hub to get to Budva and Podgorica airport. The staff were great, we left headphones in the prebooked taxi we organised with them and they were kindly returned back to us.
Everything with my room was in order, no complaints there.
The staff was helpful.
The breakfast was okay considering the hotel size.
Overall good value for money in Podgorica.
This place is great if you are traveling through Podgorica airport. The hosts are really kind and friendly. They even gave a ride to the airport, which I appreciated a lot.
