Terin is truly a genuinely wonderful host! I can see he makes everyone feel special and welcome and nothing is too much trouble! He got up at 2.15am to take me to the airport (thank you so much - so sorry for the early drive - but very very much appreciated). It is so close to the airport but not so close that you can’t sleep - you can. Great comfy bed, lovely little private room, very quiet and great facilities. Would definitely stay again and happily recommend to everyone and anyone :)

The rooms are basic and could be cleaner. The ensuite bathroom was a little smelly.

A place for relaxing. Taking it easy. Very far away from the city. If you book here, it should be after you are done with the city and are ready to chill and take your flight. Going back to City again is tedious due to distance.
A family space. Activities for the family. Kids can have fun too. The restaurant is quite good and service quite quick. Very helpful and friendly staff. More like a sleepy resort than a hotel in the city.

The accomodation doesn’t look like the photos on booking.com which is showing actual buildings, it is more like transportables (see my photo), with a arch shaped roof however they are air conditioned with private bathrooms and perfectly good for a short transit stay, and suit the pleasant weather in Sri Lanka. The staff are also very helpful land went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. The free airport transfer avoided hassles and was well coordinated. The food was to a good standard and well priced and we received a welcome drink.

They have two different type of accommodation, one for the locals and for foreigners, what saw in the pictures, not there when I reach the property. and when I enter the room was very dirty and unpleasant smell of smoke, then I immediately complaint about it, but no action took. The booking.com offered me this accommodation for 1850.00 per night but according to the care taker said, usually they charge 5000.00 per night and he charged me 2000.00 instead of 1850.00, The care taker Gamini was very humble and arranged me transportation to the airport too, but he is too old to take care the property, as I did not see any other helper to assit him.
Beautiful quiet boutique hotel, superbly run and where the customers are the whole point.
Perfect spot before our trip home to UK. Then our flight was cancelled so the owner kindly offered us another night and gave us 25% off. I thought this was an amazing gesture. The room was turned around for us very quickly. The rooms themselves are kitted out well, modern and fresh. Our room was super large too. The owner was kind enough to drive me to the airport about 3 times to sort out flights due to Dubai flooding.

Hotel chill airport transit stay is a perfect place to stay in katunayake . It is close to the center and the Airport. The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Food was excellent and incredibly varied. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most. No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to them with all your concerns. On my next stays, I will definitely check into Chill airport transit stay again. The price performance ratio is very good.
Olinia Airport Hotel was wonderful! It’s like a little oasis a short 5-7 min drive from the airport. Rooms were large, air-conditioned, and clean. The hotel has an inner courtyard that is nice and peaceful. Breakfast at the Brickwall was tasty, the wi-fi was not bad. The staff at Olinia are all really welcoming and kind, even surprised me with
a fresh mango juice to cool off from the heat.
I highly recommend staying at Olinia if you are transiting through Colombo airport!
Room service is at top notch. We arrived the room at midnight. Host Ashan gave a warm welcome and took care of our needs when we arrived. Booked a Tuk Tuk for a reasonable amount in the early morning. He even woke up early morning and made sure we had a pleasant stay. Approx 2 kms from airport. Room has enough space and great flow of water. Hot water and wifi is also available. Give Ashan a great bonus if he is a employee of the hotel. If he is the owner, wonderful owner.

Very comfortable and warm room. Plenty of electric sockets to charge my devices and work with my laptop. Great TV and really excellent hot shower, so easy to use. Friendly staff and fantastic breakfasts. I love the sri lankan Freid chicken Rice. The hotel is very central within easy reach of shops, eating places and train station, buses and the katunayake Station. I will certainly be back."

Cute little cabins made of concrete. The room was exceptionally clean. This is a very inexpensive property, so it is not a 4 star hotel. That being said, I thought it was quite nice. The Owner made us a really good breakfast with fresh fruit and (I think) french press coffee, he sent a cab to the airport to pick us up at midnight, and handled all of our requests. I would definitely stay again.
Comfortable and spacious room really close to the airport. We only stopped for 1 night after a long flight so it was great that the hotel was just down the road from the airport. The rooms were clean, beds comfy and despite being close to the airport was really quiet so we got a good nights sleep. The wifi worked well and staff were friendly.
This is a great hotel but located in Negombo near the Airport. We were traveling for the first time to Colombo so we thought that the hotel was in Colombo. However, the facilities were great, the hotel was beautifully built, very good restaurants and a great staff. They also arranged for a airport drop at 3 am in the morning.
The people in the property is the best thing about this place. and its super budget friendly. this place is more like a homestay than a hotel but just ask the people here and they’ll help you with anything. this is perfect for solo traveler who moves a lot. and this is walking distance to the airport.
