The staff were amazing. The owner was there and he made us feel very welcome. They went out of their way to help. We requested a late checkout and they provided that as well.
They have also bought the adjoining land recently, so the resort will be really nice in a year or so as it expands.

Was thoroughly disappointed with the service. There was one person taking care of everything there so maintenance was bad. Though rooms were spacious felt that it was not maintained well. The rain water entered the rooms and everytime we had to go search for the person in charge to come n clean. Door knobs were not working curtains were dirty. We paid too much for this place with no facilities.

The beautiful beach and easy access to to it. The food is great with a lot of options, make sure you ask them for the 10% discount for booking.com, otherwise they tend to bill you the full amount. Very eay to get around Bentota, just take a Tuk -Tuk, only 200-300 LKR to get to places around, plenty of great dinner options for seafood, if you like that.

We visited Bava Garden in Benthota and did a boat ride. The people were nice and helpful. The beach was relatively clean and safe to walk around. Bentota has a number of good hotels though a little bit expensive. Galle city is just 45 minutes away.

A beautiful beach. A short tuk tuk ride from shops . We would of liked some more information as to how near any restuarants were. As when we arrived at our accommodation it appeared we were in the middle of nowhere. But our host Jaya was very helpful in showing us around. There are actually 4 restuarants right next to Bentota Station. Can highly recommend tuna tuna 33. Very good quality food at very reasonable prices.

I had such a nice time, the mananger Sukan and staff made me feel so welcome
I went fishing and brought back a nice big fish...i was given a crash course in Sri Lankan cooking by the cook and we all had dinner together that night
The location of the hotel is sat back of the beach in front of the rail line but its close enough to see the waves crashing on the shore while having breakfast

The resort was amazing, in terms of facilities, cleanliness and staff was so friendly, prices also not bad, location of hotel is wonderful coz you have easy access to the ocean from one side and to the lagoon from the other side, the pool was huge and nice, staff working in the pool bar was amazing i remember mr Archala he was super helpful and friendly, other guys also amazing but sorry I don’t remember all names, Sri Lankan breakfast in the main restaurant was very good too, all over experience was great.
Unfortunately we only stayed in the accommodation for three nights because we were traveling through Sri Lanka by tuk-tuk. The River Breeze Villa is absolute madness. Pradeep and his family are so incredibly nice and accommodating and try to organize everything you need. The bed was the best of our trip so far and there is even a pool that you can use at any time. There is also a great breakfast. If we are in Bentota again, we will definitely come back. Thank you so much!
The service was excellent! The staff were all incredibly helpful and really great with our kids. We loved having a room right next to the Deluxe Pool, which was mostly empty even though it was a busy weekend.
The food was amazing, and we especially liked that there was also a lot of authentic Sri Lankan food. Lots of big hotels are so "Westernised" that they would not offer much Sri Lankan food, but here the choice was great!
Truly magical place right at the beach! By far the loveliest place we stayed at in Sri Lanka. Janu is very kind gentlemen and all his team did the best for us to have a nice time. We had plenty of friendly conversations and drinks together. We also decided to spend Christmas there which was truly lovely. Thank you very much for all your kindness, help and hospitality! Amila, saman ..the staff and people are the soul of this boutique resort.they go an extra mile to make your vacation truly memorable. Rooms are cleaned daily.all rooms have a river view. To go to beach you need a car or they hv free boat drops to bentotta beach. Lots of restaurants around.do visit secret island.the boat tour through the mangroves with Saman was the highlight of my stay.

Very cozy hotel with a private beach. We felt very welcome. The breakfast and dinner was great. The staff are very accommodating, they tried their best to make our stay amazing. Even the owner was helping us with our enquirers. The rooms are fairly comfortable with a stunning view of the ocean. Everything was just awesome!
We loved the suite with a seaview. We stayed here for the last night of our honeymoon, and the staff did a wonderful job to make it the perfect end to our holiday. The facilities at the hotel and the room itself are excellent value for money. We would definitely come back again on our next trip to Sri Lanka!

The staff were so kind! We loved the option of choosing your breakfast (Sri Lankan or Western) and the food was delicious overall. Very clean with a nice beach area. Janu makes himself present and even helps out where needed. We loved the quiet spot out of the main city.
