The Onsen is average, one small pool inside and one outside. There are apartments with private Onsen too on the location though.
The Japanese food was also average, a bit overpriced compared to the quality. The tuna sashimi was stringy. The presentation of the dishes was nice. At the end you get a huge bowl of rice to fill up the gaps if you didn't eat enough food.

Very quiet and nice location, train station Hakone-Yumoto within walking distance. The room is incredibly clean and well-equipped. All the facilities are in very good condition, especially the toilet and the kitchen. We really enjoyed our short stay in Hakone!

The hotel is beautifully situated on Lake Ashi, right beside Hakone Shrine and the Tori gate out in the lake. The hotel runs a shuttle bus from the nearby transpot hub on the banks of the lake, where buses to and from Odawara as well as the sightseeing cruise ships can be boarded. The hotel was also extremely clean and well presented. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
