Tucked around corner of the Grand Canal so lovely to see Venice busy and bustling from our double windows. Walking distance to everything ambling through laneways and snapping great photos. We enjoyed the atmosphere of Venice and most people were friendly. Although the elderly locals definitely don’t like tourists, especially when they take up all the walkway and the local had trouble getting past the tourist groups. Tourists need to be more considerate.

2 days was comfortable.
2 days was comfortable. Any shorter would not cover everything. Good to do St Marks Square over 2 days (Cathedral & Bell Tower in first morning, then Doge Palace the following morning). Afternoons were relaxed visiting Murano and other key attractions (including gondola boat ride). Water taxis very handy and frequent to get around.

Venice doesn't require any additional recommendations.
Venice doesn't require any additional recommendations. It is the only of its kind, and is worth visiting at least once in everyone's lifetime. Sure, it is overcrowded by tourists but you won't find anything like Venice in the whole world.
Mostly the value for money in a place like Venice. It's far from the most luxurious place you'll stay in and it's also a decent walk to the main attractions, but you really do get what you pay for. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom served it's purpose, although the shower was a bit small. Hot water was consistent the whole time which is a huge bonus for budget hotels in Italy. The artwork on the walls was a nice touch too. A great place to stay if you're on a budget and don't mind walking a bit.
I recently stayed at Ca' Dei Leoni in Venice, Italy, and it was an absolute delight. The man at reception went above and beyond to make our stay a breeze. He was very accommodating (we needed an early breakfast on our day of departure) and his helpful recommendations made our trip even more memorable. The hotel's charming ambience and good location (just off one of the main routes through the city) made it a fantastic choice. I would visit again.
This hotel was wonderful, it had everything we needed in the room and a very spacious shower which is something as tall people we struggled to find in Italy! The bed was comfortable and very quiet for saying how central the hotel was to busy areas. All the big attractions were only short walks away and the air conditioning was wonderful to escape the Venice Heat! Great to have a safe available too.
The island is stunning! An oasis escape from the tourists of Venice but a quick boat ride to all of the main islands. The bikes were amazing for getting to and from the boat, but also for exploring the island.
The breakfast was also a stand out, the best we had in Italy!
Excellent location, excellent breakfast, super friendly and supportive staff.
Super nice top terrace with 360 view.
Best value for money hotel in Italy so far.
