I arrived at the hotel after a long journey with bus from Milan to Crotone and I found the owner and the staff very friendly. It’s not the tourists or visitor season for that small town, so I found many shops closed. The owner (manager) accompanied me in his car late in the evening to get a pizza.
Then the day of check-out when it was raining he gave me a ride to the next town (Botricello) where there is a train station to get back to Crotone.

The staff was extremely helpful, nice and professional.
The sun-beds were dedicated to each room (no need to rush to get a sun-bed).
Rooms are large.
It is a perfect place to relax (with no stress) and to eat amazingly well (in the star Michelin restaurant).
Villa Aurora is near the sea in Isola di Capo Rizzuto. The hotel is near the old fort. It provides its own diving center and tours of the Marine Protected Area.
